What a great place, with great food and prices, are incredibly reasonable! Fun environment, but be warned, you will likely wait a while before being seated - but that shows how great it is!
Favorite restaurant on Earth. Authentic Mexican and Cajun food in NJ! It's cheap to eat, around $25 per person including drinks. No dessert on the menu except birthday cake because you won't want it.

Nice place, food is awesome and service also. Blackened chicken is a must, margaritas and basically anything in the menu looks and taste great! Always a 20 minutes wait to have a table but it worth it
Absolutely the best Mexican food in town. They are always busy and have a giant line but the line moves quick and the food is worth the wait! Grab one of their awesome margaritas too!

Phyliss CurtoFebruary 16, 2014Awesome food, most meals are under $10, you get plenty, enough for leftovers. Sangria is the bomb!! Chips and salsa are fresh, if your lucky your chips will be smoking hot at your table.
Everything is good, good food and service at reasonable prices. No reservations are accepted and always busy regardless of day and time so be prepared to wait for a table.

Apps: Pastelitos, Queso, Blackened Chix Fingers, and Camptown Shrimp. For entree I get blackened chix fajita. Their fries are also pretty good.

The Tejas Chicken appetizer elevates traditional wings by lightly frying and putting them on skewers - SO, SO, SO good! The chicken burro never disappoints either.

If you come to Tejas on a night or weekend, don't come hungry, come "almost hungry". The wait will mitigate your hunger.

try the frozen margarita along with blackened catfish and crawfish quesadilla...
You can't beat the blackened chicken fajitas! Make sure you show up an hour early, the wait is loooooong!

Ignore the tip for frozen sangria, it's tastes like cheap wine. Go for the Gold margarita they use patrons for all their margaritas
There is a reason this place is always on a wait! Inexpensive great food! Try the pastelitos, they're unreal!
