- Maya BruckOctober 22, 2014The vegetarian miso ramen is fantastic, especially if you add one of their soy-cured egg. Lots of veggies and a full-bodied, satisfying broth. One of my faves.
- Maria SolnechnajaMarch 24, 2016Chicken fried rice is amazing, chicken buns and pork buns are amazing! Simply delicious! Miso ramen, naruto ramen and curry ramen are really good! Great food. Great place. Cash only
- SelenFebruary 13, 2019Staff is very nice and welcoming, food is okay. I tried tan tan ramen, gyoza, fried chicken and fried rice and I liked the gyoza and fried chicken the most.
- Besides the noodles. The appetizers are really good. Recommend the pork buns.
- Nice authentic ramen joint. This is a good a reason as any for living in the neighborhood.
- The spicy reman is hot! I order the level 2 out of 5. It almost killed me. But. It was good :)
- Lauren HansenMarch 29, 2015Best ramen in park slope. I very willingly trek 10 blocks just to eat here on a semi-regular basis.
- Tim JulienDecember 22, 2014You can watch anime in the back, or plop down at the counter in the front
- J. LongoFebruary 27, 2015After much love & frequent visits, I bit down on a chunk of glass & was met w/a less than concerned staff, offering to remake my ramen as if I would ever consider that after such horror. Never again.
- Marc Ceasar ChuaFebruary 12, 2012For this month, they have an oxtail Ramen special. Pretty tasty! Pair it up with Kurobuta sausages and draft beer, and you're set!
- Timothy ReedDecember 16, 2012The miso ramen is pretty damn acceptable. The marinated charshu is excellent, though not as artisanal as Zuzu on 4th.
- Salwa KhanFebruary 23, 2013For the those who don't eat pork, the veggie gyoza and veggie curry ramen with egg noodles were delicious!
- I like this place. It's not as amazing as Chuko or whatever, but the tan tan ramen is good.
- ginny hNovember 9, 2015High school waitresses are clueless and the ramen is just all right. We go here because we have no other option for ramen in Park Slope
- Kenji ArakawaNovember 13, 2010The gyoza is legit. And as of Nov 2010, the place is BYOB. nice. There's a deli on the corner with a great beer selection. Bring a few in.
- AlexJanuary 24, 2013Love the miso ramen, and the namesake, but the pork buns and octopus are must have
- Derrick L.December 11, 2011Tried the Hellfire 'Level 5' for spiciness and it was NOTHING close to being spicy at all. Although the waitress seemed a bit shocked that I ordered and kept reminding me that it's spicy.
- Miguel de LeonNovember 3, 2014The gyoza come out hot and the ramen comes out al dente but the service is what's spicy
- Mike O'DeaJanuary 14, 2014ramen is supposed to be made quickly. waiting an hour at the bar on a saturday is a joke and a half. the ramen is indeed good but their service is horrible. go during a weekday afternoon.
- The curry ramen is totally legit! As close as you'll get to the real Muroran curry ramen without taking a flight to Hokkaido.
- Really good and cheap. Best fried rice. Best pork buns!
- Sara F.September 3, 2011Tuesday night in park slope it is $7 for ramen. The pork buns are delicious.
- ErinNovember 15, 2015My ramen came about 15 min after when my friends received their meals. Apparently because they made it wrong. Nothing off of our bill, we asked and waitress said it wasn't their fault. Not returning
- asha chagoyenNovember 7, 2011Awesome ramen, but the roast pork in the ramen soup is a tad bit too sweet.
- The special cold ramen is the perfect thing to order on a hot day like today.
- L DDecember 25, 2018Very mediocre ramen place. The kimchi ramen was blah. The tan tan ramen is okey. The noodle itself had a nice texture. But the soup base and ingredients didn’t feel fresh.
- Sad they didn't leave the katsu curry on the menu, but the naruto ramen works. Byob is a nice option as well.
- Anthony DeRicoAugust 28, 2011TanTan Ramen is the best! As close to visiting Japan as it gets w/o leaving the country...
- Kev SkinnyOctober 8, 2015Bao buns are solid. Ramen is good. I usually stick with the Naruto Ramen seeing as how the god damn place is named after it. Gyoza also is good. 7.5/10.
- I'm addicted to the Sura Tanmen. So vinegary and delicious!
- Amy RFebruary 23, 2014Mediocre is too kind. Nothing is flavored. Naturo ramen tastes only of salt. Don't get the pork buns! Unseasoned pork, mayo, iceberg lettuce & tomato. Save you cash (yes, stupidly cash only).
- Definitely try the naruto ramen, if you have room, get a side of the fried rice.
- JuAnne NgJanuary 16, 2011Try the oxtail ramen. The soup base was tasty, noodles were al dente and meat was tender.
- Dam MarksonAugust 16, 2015You can't call this Ramen. I've seen the decline over the years, and it used to be okay, but now it's terrible, even inedible. There's no quality control at all to this food.
