    Don't be put off by the wait for a table, once your sat down the food comes really quickly. I have been here many times now and I am never disappointed by the food, it's always amazing!

    Friendliness of staff followed by lovely accommodation- really comfortable beds and room facilities. Evening meals and breakfast are delicious, with a good selection of wine and beer

    Quick note based on Paul W comment. My understanding is you can't book tables at the Lion. However even though it's always busy, I've never had a long wait on a weekday arriving before 8.
