Pricey but worth it for date night. The scallops with champagne butter sauce blew my mind, and the ahi with furikake and risotto was lovely.

Res Salt was our absolute favorite dining experience on the island. Beautiful plating and sophisticated flavor pairings. 💕Recommend the sweet onion and corn soup as well as the charred ahi.

Breakfast: Everything, but the Lobster Benedict was special. Cocktails – innovative and saboroso. Dinner: Appetizers – Ahi, scallop or bone marrow. All fish entrees amazing. Panda cotta for dessert

This was the best meal on Kauai. Everything was excellent, reasonably priced for being on a resort. Service was also excellent. If anything was lacking, a better wine list by the glass.

Good food (esp breakfast). Free valet parking. Walk the beach front after your meal. Connected all the way to the Poipu Beach via Marriott.

Octopus, bone marrow (could use better toast), hamachi, tempura ahi roll, short rib, lobster gnocchi were very good. BUT the misobutterfish” was escolar fish (not cod) & wasn’t flakey or moist

Scallops were a tasty appetizer. We were super intrigued by the Madagascar Vanilla Bean Mahi with Forbidden Black Rice but weren't wowed by the flavors.

Excellent food and service. Exceeded my expectations for a hotel restaurant. The mahi was the best prepared I've had on the island.

Better value at breakfast and much bigger portions. Look online for deals on lodging and meals here. We had daily free breakfast for 2 and $75 additional for food.

Best AND most affordable breakfast in the Poipu area. Plus the Koa Kea strikes a perfect balance between posh/upscale + low key casual.

Everything on the menu is pretty top notch. Have had 7-8 entrees, all phenomenal. Avoid beef because of better quality, lower cost fish.

Select the breakfast package if you are staying here. You get a hot entree and you can help yourself to the continental. Totally worth it!

Enjoy what is arguably the best breakfast on Kauai whether you are staying here or not. Closed for lunch. Dinner is also fantastic.

Food was OK. Service not what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Given this is supposed to be THE boutique hotel this side of the island I definitely expected more.

Their miso butterfish was actually Escobar fish. Had to return it because it’s a cheap fish & no way too asked or looked like butterfish.
