- Chocolate shake and a bowl of matzo ball soup. THE best matzo ball soup on the island. period. it is over salted and divine and not trying to pretend to be your grandmother's soup. i love it here.
- It's hard to find great matzoh ball soup in the city, but they've nailed it. Eggs, hashbrowns and turkey bacon are all amazing too!!!
- clarissa floresMarch 12, 2015Order from here often and the food is good but have messed up my order on several occasions; open 24hrs so they have the convenience factor
- A 24-hour, classic old-school New York diner. Cheap and straight forward.
- Classic delicious diner food. Go for the 2 eggs, potatoes and bacon.
- If you order the Toasted Jumbo Bagel with Lox & Cream Cheese, they will literally serve you an entire salmon.
- Dustin LeeJanuary 5, 2015When the man asks if you want hot sauce, say yes. His homemade salsa verde is amazing on everything (or on its own).
- Marcela RosadoMay 2, 2012Love this place. Best spot for late night food, a really early breakfast or whenever. Its open 24 hours!
- Pop Art NYCApril 16, 2011"It's just kind of a great old place, you know. Watery coffee. It's one of the last shitty old places in New York." - Louis CK - in Episode 9 of Louis on FX (filmed at this coffee shop diner.)
- Agnes FSeptember 30, 2013Great breakfast fast and reasonable has that old fashioned diner charm from years past
- Stephanie BOctober 17, 2011It's okay if I want a cheap espresso on the way to work because it's around the corner from where I live. If I'm hungry late at night I can usually find something edible on the menu.
- Honghui YuJanuary 20, 2015Cheap 24-hour diner slinging traditional diner fare. Quality of food is par for the course.
- Jennie NauSeptember 7, 2012The coffee might not be great but the iced cappuccino I'm drinking right now is better and cheaper than Starbucks.
- It's a great diner as diners go. What I like best is that they use haggen daz ice cream in their milkshakes. Mmmmmmmmmmm milkshakes!
- Gian GenerosoAugust 29, 2011Sharpen your butter knife when you get there. Service is so damn slow that by the time your order comes out, your knife would have turned into a dagger just in time for the zombie apocalypse.
- Excellent breakfast! Great food and friendly service. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
- I love this spot! Nice and laid-back, I love the Reuben.
- Yamil A-MJune 25, 2012The "Soup du Jour" (today, Chix Noodle) tastes horrible. And it was cold. The owner didn't even provided a spoon! Always ask for samples before you order here. Better safe than sorry.
- I get a stomach ache every single time I eat here. Always food from the grill. Maybe it's a cleaning chemical they use. The best part of this place is it's open 24 hours. The food is crap.
- Agree that coffee is not great but prices are good and its clean. Kind of a nice local low key place.
- Lindsay KaplanDecember 6, 2009Unfortunately, the coffee tastes like burnt, watered down Folgers with a splash of Windex. Dig the food, stay away from the namesake Joe.
