- Leon Van EckAugust 3, 2015Perhaps the best cold brew coffee outside of Cape Town. Their ham and cheese croissant with a smidge of whole-grain mustard is so good, I want to hollow it out and live in it.
- Eric GracianoDecember 13, 2013Great place and of course serving some of the best coffee there is. If you want to use your computer beware there aren't plugs so charge it before hand... + wine and beer is served here too :)
- Jaydeep SinghJanuary 20, 2016I wish they had this in SF. It's great and on the same level of SightGlass or Blue Bottle. My go to drink is the almond milk latte. Starbucks lovers this place may not be for you.
- DAN COXJuly 21, 2011A welcome addition to Pasadena! Stop your conversation and watch them prepare your drink - these guys are good! Then sip slowly & Savor every drop.
- José AyalaAugust 3, 2016Amazing espresso coffee, Italian roasted. Prepared and served with care. And paired with a glass of water. Cozy environment, WiFi, kind bartenders. Just a PERFECT experience.
- Adrian PhillipsJuly 9, 2015Love the space, great espresso like all the Intelligentsia locations throughout LA. Love how they give you a side of bubbly water with a Macchiato
- TessMarch 12, 2013Great place for coffee purists. You will love their passion for coffee. Pricy but quality coffee products. The only thing I don't like is the loud music they play but still a great place.
- H. Colbert (@hrsch)December 17, 2014When you venture inland & the temp is hotter than midday in the desert, get the iced chai. For some odd reason, it's infinitely better than the hot version.
- Kevin ParkSeptember 7, 2013Very cool coffee shop. Nice place to come and work or just to chill. They also serve wine and beer here as well.
- If your going to pay for coffee, do it here! The best knowledge, service, coffee environment in Old Town! Killer chocolate cookies work the whole coffee & sweet tooth thing out quite nice!
- Hannah GMFebruary 20, 2013Great single-origin pour-over, cappuccinos and hazelnut croissants. Don't expect a cup for less than $5, but drinks are fantastic and they stock Siggi's yogurt!
- Iris NgDecember 25, 2012The Geisha is light and smooth. $12 for 8 oz is a bit expensive in my opinion. Would make a good gift for coffee lovers, though!
- A beautiful reclamation project that pays homage to Old Town Pasadena. Check out the joists, reclaimed woods, structural supports. Oh, the Black Cat Espresso ain't bad either. First look linked below. Read more
- Evan ChenSeptember 7, 2018Love the interior and the coffee served here. The line could be long though.
- Dine.Savor.Repeat. ™️ a Jesse Watrous CompanyMarch 18, 2013Their Mocha is made with their house made Ganache, very Delish & the Rustic Apple Tart was tasty. Atmosphere is relaxed but the music is too loud, not enough seating outside. 3/5 Stars
- Jasmine SkellyAugust 7, 2014Grab an iced latte here for that extra kick in the AM or for a afternoon pick me up! A great hangout if you're looking to catch up with a friend.
- Yes, the coffee is amazing, but don't forget about the amazing beer selection. Have a Delirium Tremens, La Fin Du Monde or Maredsous instead of a coffee some time.
- Elia PachecoJuly 14, 2013It has a great environment. Best place to get away from all the busy Saturday night craziness and relax for a bit.

- Michal NJanuary 4, 2015Pour over and espresso are very good. Really enjoyed the Burundi single origin. Overall quality coffee.
- Amanda KaneshiroApril 16, 2018The coffee was fantastic but one of the baristas was not. I’m lucky there are so many great coffee options in Pasadena. I can always just go to another place.
- Scott KleinbergJuly 4, 2013Fantastic coffee - I drink it all the time in Chicago - and really comfortable chairs. And free Wi-Fi.
- TrishAugust 24, 2014the Angeleno is best iced coffee drink on the menu. also try the feta scallion scone.
- Carl BlackAugust 10, 2014Free meter parking on Raymond 8-11 am daily. Also a 15-minute space there on the corner near Colorado.
- Global HighlanderNovember 23, 2014Excellent coffee. The line starts closer to the door and not directly in front of the payment iPad.
- Leonardo De La RochaSeptember 10, 2013Great mochas but 2% is as light as it gets. No almond milk but soy milk is available if you're into that sort of thing.
- Josiah David ChapmanDecember 13, 2015Great coffee, upbeat ambience, and a reputation that lives up to all the hype.
- y contentMarch 20, 2012Love that they have a bar here. More spacious than the Silverlake one, so feel free to grab a table to do some work.
- Aria MFebruary 10, 2015I'm in iced mocha and butter croissant heaven. The vibe and the decor is also divine.
- Jaedoo LeeDecember 16, 2015Hot chocolate was the best of the best hot chocolate. It is a real 'Hot Chocolate'.
- The current +$ reserve coffee — the Takesi Bolivia — a good coffee. Not amazing, though. Don't get it just because it's expensive…like I did.
- AvaAugust 26, 2014The coffee here is great, and the baristas are far less pretentious than they are at other intelligentsia locations
- Best coffee in Pasadena. Locals beware, the weekends bring in long lines and longer tourists, who ask every question imaginable before ordering.
- Next time you're thinking about going with a latte, try the more traditional sized cappuccino instead. They're the best!
- Lines always are long and tables are tough to find. Great atmosphere and quality coffee.
- Ashley DandoJanuary 15, 2019Coffee is good, full of people working on laptops slowly drinking 1 cup, so it’s hard to find a seat
