Just a nice place with excellent food....very fresh and tasty....great lunch specials , just the right amount of food. Service is also great.

Authentic, Japanese run resto. Very fresh and plentiful sushi and sashimi plates. Lovely staff. One of my fave lunch spots.

The bathroom requires a short walk outside to the nearby parkade -- worth knowing in the winter or if it's dark outside and you don't feel safe.

Kaki fry( oyster croquette ) is seasonal and even in the summer they don't have it everyday , order while lasts!

The keyword here is fried. Forget everything you know about light Japanese food and feast on the tempura, croquettes, and karaage. Great comfort food for winter time.

Friendliest staff I've ever had in a sushi place, and the spicy rolls are really good and great value ($5.95 for 8)

The croquettes here are great. Also, try the chicken katsu curry. I wish this place had late business hours.
