- Rachael OsborneNovember 14, 2014Simple, fresh, delicious food at a reasonable price, served in a cozy setting. Feels like a home cooked meal with all the neighbours. If I lived here this would definitely be a fave.
- David HuAugust 11, 2014Despite what the name may lead you to believe, this is an amazing Italian restaurant (it apparently used to be a deli). They serve all the classics, sure you'll find something you like.
- Cozy, neighborhood spot for a weeknight dinner or date. Love the pappardelle ai funghi and Sardinian short pasta. And don't forget the tiramisu or chocolate mousse!
- Nikki SyliantengOctober 11, 2015Totally exceeded my expectations, such a pleasant experience. Passed my Goldilocks standards. Lasagna was nicely portioned -- not too Garfield huge. Brooklyn Heights feels like a snow globe town.
- Kevin SkobacJanuary 3, 2015The Malloredus Sardi Alla Campidanese was delicious - still thinking about the sauce. So we're the muscles, if you like some spice in the broth. Cash only, but good prices.
- Bin YangSeptember 15, 2016Start with a big meat/cheese board then move on to the house made pastas. The daily specials are usually my go to, the last time I had a bottarga/clam spaghetti with white wine sauce - perfecto!
- Alex RainertSeptember 9, 2012The name lulls you into thinking this is just another deli when in fact it's some of the best rustic italian food in Brooklyn. Great pastas. Laid back atmosphere too. Go here.
- Pasta is amazing and they have great prices. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I would recommend pasta and tuna dish- delicious! Remember it's cash only - figure $60/person. Drink included

- Jeremy WilcoxJune 30, 2013A great restaurant with a deceptive name... it's actually specializes in really quaint Italian dishes (not your usual Olive Garden fare). Came here for brunch, and had excellent trophie al pesto.
- karen bonna rainertAugust 13, 2012Get the trophie pasta. It's a specialty from Northern Italy that's hard to find in most Italian restaurants. It's light and delicious for a pasta dish.
- First things first. Put some burrata in your face. Then, maybe grab some pappardelle. If there's a fish special, especially a Bronzino, eat that. It's fish, so no regrets, right?
- Yera HaMarch 6, 2015This place is my new obsession. Beautiful, quaint, fairly priced. The lasagna was delicious. Try the drink of the night!
