- Eunice HongMarch 28, 2015The food is great, some of the best Indian food I've had in a while. For drinks, I'd pass on the Chili Mantra, it tasted like a salt bomb. 😖 The Mango Gimlet my bf got, however, was delicious.
- Katurah ToppsSeptember 1, 2013LOVE IT!! Love love love it!!! The chaata= meh. It was ok but I'd never order it again. For the main dish I had a chefs special combination of the rara lamb and the lamb stew- it was amazing!
- Claude HarrisonDecember 14, 2018Enjoy whatever chaat is served. It will blow your socks off. The shrimp konkani is fla forkful, and not overly spicy. Nice wine list... try the gruner veltliner. Matches well with the food.
- MarcJanuary 21, 2021Esquire: Because spice, hospitality, and wine aren’t luxuries—they’re essentials. Because this unassuming, unexpected jewel in a VA mall is one of the very best Indian restaurants in America
- Syd ViciousAugust 2, 2014This place is incredible. If you don't enjoy your experience here than you must hate Indian food. The staff is awesome and you never get what your order because they pick something better
- Raj MehtaAugust 24, 2013Hands down, best Indian restaurant I have been in the US! Great ambience, welcoming service and yes, they make food Indian Indian if you ask for. "Daal tadka maarke!"
- Lemon has the best traditional Indian food, but Lehja has the best modern take on Indian food I've ever had. It's like Richmond's Rasika.
- Veronica McCallJanuary 5, 2018My husband received a gift card for Christmas so he & I - - having NEVER eaten Indian food before - - had lunch there this week!! The food AND service was EXTRAORDINARY!! Thanks Lehja!!
- Marco HowellOctober 31, 2011Get the Garlic naan and chatt for apps. Try the andhra chicken and aam-anar lamb for main. And must have chocolate fondant for dessert.
- RVANewsJune 28, 2013For dinner try the Goan Lamb Vin d’alho. The meat is extraordinarily tender and well-seasoned, while the chili-tomato sauce demands an order of naan to soak up what’s left behind.
- Lehja is probably my favorite Indian restaurant on the West End. Great service, great food, friendly and good local beers on tap.
- Kyle MaceyFebruary 24, 2017The naan is good but other food is okay. Not bad for a mall restaurant. Service is uncoordinated: I was asked for my order by several wait staff. The décor and atmosphere is relaxing & delightful.
- Ketan RaturiMarch 17, 2011Some of the best Indian fusion I've ever had. Make sure to try a lamb dish and get the kulfi for dessert. I just came in my pants a little.
- Dwayne SpillerMarch 16, 2013The coconut lemongrass chicken is awesome. The chakka chick pea dish is a great starter also.
- The Mango Gimlet is so delicious, you'll want to order 10.
- Katurah ToppsSeptember 1, 2013Excellent service, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff-one of my top rated!
- Matthew BollingDecember 9, 2013Don't be alarmed if the dining area is empty, this is some of the best Indian in RVA.
- Suzanne AbbotAugust 6, 2011Highly recommend!! The best Indian food I've had in Richmond. Everything we had was awesom
- Shania LinJanuary 31, 2012try the mango lassi drink! it's like a smoothie with mango & yogurt, very yummy
- Darrell TalastasMay 1, 2011It's Richmond restaurant week! Some money goes toward the food bank on the second menu! Do it!
- Go for lunch. Unlimited naan and rice with your order. It's dangerously carb-a-licious.
