OMG this was the best restaurant!!!! The fried pickles were the best I have ever had and the fish and chips was to die for!!

Loved the Fish and Chips. The thick cut fries are so good, and the fillet is a whole half of a fish. The broccoli slaw wasn't bad, but you need a spoon to eat it, it falls through a fork too easily.

The Ecto sandwich was just the right amount of spicy and the steak fries make you forget any other kind existed. Pair with an Ubu Ale

Everything was good. Great selections...pretzel nuggets seemed to be different than those we have had there before-too hard! Salad, wings, pizzas, pulled pork were all great!

Didn't smell that great in there. I only stayed bc I was starving. Good thing I did too! The food was amazing! I'll definitely go back. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. I recommend it!

Good for toddlers, no one minds their craziness.Restaurant upstairs so not easy if using stroller.Try the salmon bowl healthy and delicious.Can’t comment on the play area as being used for a meeting.

Pear and maple pizza was unique and tasty, but a little over baked. Bartender refused to fill a perfectly clean growler, which I thought was bogus. Fun atmosphere, though.

The Ubu Ale is thick and the fire fish is filling. The fried pickles are delicious, and they're fried as a spear and not a chip.

One of our favorite places in Lake Placid. Delicious beer, amazing food, and great atmosphere! Give the pizzas a try with a glass of Ubu!

The BBQ platter is amazing! Chicken, pulled ribs, fries, slaw and apple sauce. Fall off the the bone meat. Definitely get this! Blackened salmon is great too!

The wings here are incredible. Once you've had a few, wash it down with some Ubu Ale. That's all you need to know.

Food was great. The Ubu Ale is where it's at. These folks know what they're doing; if there's a wait, stick it out because its absolutely worth it!!

For someone that generally prefers lager to ale, the famous Ubu Ale is out of this world delicious. It's very busy but for good reason - great food and beer.

The beer flight is excellent and quite cost effective. As are the nachos, burgers and the steak udon.

The beer is outstanding the UBU brew is great. The staff was hit or miss the downstairs staff was great the 2nd floor staff was just ok. And the Fire Fish I didn't care for wasn't my thing.

They brew all their own beer. 46'er pale ale and the ubu ale are both solid choices.

Moose Island Ale is a great, light golden ale. Definitely give that one a try. The jalapeno cheddar stuffed soft pretzels are amazing as well as Josh's fire fish. Read more
