If you are gonna use the cable car for 2+ days, buy a 3 or 7 day pass at the gift shop (comission free) the single ride costs $6 (so $12 round trip) and 7 day pass costs $28 & it includes buses tooUpvoted Feb 20
There are lots of consignment stores with cool stuff, in the area, Whole Foods a block away and some decent restaurants in walking distance. Hotel staff is friendly

Thin walls....had youngsters playing loud music and a joining room where I hear bathroom activities. Restless!

Had a really good stay here. Helpful staff and nice rooms. For an impressive view, head to the left hand stairwell on the 26th floor! Not recommended for those that don't like heights though...

For a Holiday Inn, it’s a fancy one. Gym, pool, and laundry on the sixth floor.

The location is great, it's next to California St. The staff are friendly and polite.
Exceptional for what you would expect from a Holiday Inn.

Don't put your room keycard in the same pocket as your cellphone - it'll interfere with the card's magnetic strip and it'll stop working.

Kelly and Lavean are the best! Trust the mayor, I know what's up.
If your outside around midnight be prepared to see pimps and prostitutes fighting.
Overall experience wasn't bad. The only bad thing was the $38/day for hotel parking. :(
Dominick CobbOctober 28, 2011No microwaves?! They have a fridge but no microwave in the entire building... Give me a break. Spend $20 and get one from target people it's not that difficult!
