D.A. ArnesonFebruary 10, 2017Skip breakfast at home if you have an early flight. Less hassle and the scrambled eggs are very good.- Even better, they have club dark chocolate! And there are desks, no meeting areas that I know of, but I'm sure they will arrange something if u ask nicely! lovely sunrise over the hangars!

As with most lounges - the best and quietest seats are around the back. Good natural light, more space and good work areas.
It's not that different to the qf lounge on the other side of the wall - it's quite small ...if you travel with kids go to the qf lounge it's a better set up for them
They have a pancake machine in the morning. Spits out perfect, fluffy pancakes every single time. Add some softened butter & maple syrup and you're set with a breakfast of champions.
This lounge always feels busy. To get away from it all find a quieter seat at the back.- Fantastic lounge. Coffee bar and menu lunch and dinner options are among the highlights.
James FergusonMarch 3, 2020Very hit or miss whether hot food is served or not. With so many visitors it is often packed and hard to find a seat. Equally the carpets are often dirty with food remnants.- Here's a tip - be nice to the service team. Manfred and co have never let me down
Much has changed due to Covid, but arguably now the food service is better now the buffet has gone.

Qantas have closed this lounge over the Christmas period for the last 2 years. Opens again on 13 Jan 2014- Great service, great food & coffee ... No complaints here at all.
They need to put more staff on at the front counter. It was a 5 min line up to enter the business lounge. One staff member only. Not good.
Have a glass of grange with your points before qantas goes bust :-)

Mick LiubinskasMay 10, 2010Pre-flight coffee is not needed if you're going to Melbourne only if going to Canberra or Brisbane. I recommend the bircher museli.
No booze before lunchtime unlike the international equivalent
Much improved wifi in the lounge and sausages for breakfast!
"Family" area added up the end. No bars to keep the family in but :-)

Staff are woeful - guests are treated with indifference at best
Try the Fat Yak beer on tap but avoid the Vegetable Chips (crisps)!
