Lyz GlickmanAugust 4, 2016Probably the best Mexican food is ever had. I had the cactus burrito with a side of Mole sauce and my dad had a chicken platter. Both were amazing. We're going back tonight for more!
If you missed the chilaquiles Doña Maria from Monteros, try the chilaquiles here! This restaurant is the same owner that used to have Monteiro's when it was good... Superb!
Tostada salad is the best in the east bay. Talavera seems to be improving with time. Now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Albany/ N. Berkeley.
Stick to the Tacos and Mole you won't go wrong. Also I don't love the salsas on the bar so I spring for the Pico de Gallo.
