Beautiful grounds, feels like you are in France. The food at the restaurant is good but make sure to book a table in high season.

There's a new "park and ride" car park a short bus ride across the grounds from the house. Allow an extra 10-15 mins if you have a timed visit booked... Worked pretty well for us.

We love this place! So much to see and do for all ages. Take a tour of the wine cellars. Look out for His Lordship too!

So much for the eyes to take in even if not an art fan, its still a wonderful show of exquisite and extravagant decoration

Check price of food b4 sitting down to eat, Waddeston do a great scam where same food almost double the price depending on where you eat! Stables Caffe’ x2 price of the Treaterie for the same meal.

If you are visiting at Christmas, be sure to visit the House's East Wing. Each year, the decorations are inspired by one of five different European countries.

It does get very busy. Be sure to pre-book your ticket to tour the house as they often sell out early in the day

The wine cellars are hidden away on the RHS of the main house entrance, but well worth seeking out.

A bit disappointed, this is a neo Renaissance manor built at the end of the XIXth century by the Rothschild family. The interior is all very heavy rococo style and the gardens are not very impressive
