- Avradeep ChakrabartiFebruary 17, 2013This place is often v busy to get into and v busy inside! We found the staff v helpful and well turned out. The big tip is- if more the 50% of the customers are Chinese- you know the place is v good!
- S PNovember 8, 2017BBQ/Peking duck, soya chicken, char sui (sweet bbq pork) or roast pork... All good!
- Chee Wai WongSeptember 12, 2017Very famous place frequently visited by all Asians - but I gotta say of all the times I've been there I've never once been fascinated by it. Food is not bad but certainly not awesome. 6.5/10 for me
- Angela Tan Siok LingDecember 11, 2018Great service staff and roast duck of course! Ask for their recommendations like Pig Stomach Soup w chicken or Red Chilli stuffed with minced meat fry in black bean sauce, 😋 😋
- lalalalinderDecember 10, 2018Amaxing roasted duck in gigantic portions. Authentic food - just see the lines of Chinese queueing to get in and you know you are at a great place
- Matt Ta-MinAugust 3, 2019Roast duck is great, but beyond that everything else is fairly ordinary Chinese takeaway food. About the average level of the whole street.
- S PMay 24, 2016The place for roast duck. BBQ pork and soy ckicken also good. To enjoy all, order the combination dish of the 3.
- IrinaJanuary 5, 2015Lovely place and friendly staff. Menu has pictures so it's easy to understand what are you ordering. Try spicy prawns dumplings - amazing!
- Definitely go for the roast duck. The kangkung belacan and the enoki mushroom with japanese tofu definitely is highly recommended. Prepare for long queue and cramped in though
- Joseph WanAugust 2, 2016Coming from Hong Kong, I was skeptical of Chinese/Cantonese food in western countries. The dishes exceeded my expectations. The roast duck was really tasty as was the steamed turbot!
- JETOctober 18, 2015The roast duck is always good here but I also always order the aubergine with minced pork. Service is pretty crappy, waiters can be rude but it all adds to the authenticity!
- Lo CosmoApril 18, 2016As a Chinese, I would say the roast duck is amazing. I had roast duck and soya chicken with rice.
- Joyce IpJune 29, 2016Best authentic roast duck in London! Their evening a la carte is equally as good!! Highly recommended
- Jamie BarnardJanuary 1, 2015Peking duck is good. Staff are rushed off their feet. Dude on the door with the list is funny. Ask for a bruce lee sandwich. They love it
- IG @antskongDecember 12, 2011They have the best Roast Duck in Town. However the Branch is BaysWater taste better. Do smile and be friendly with the lady who takes cares of the line. She can get you in faster.
- Bianca NgFebruary 25, 2015Duck has always been my favorite & I grew up eating it. This place reminded me of my childhood. Very fresh and the prices are reasonable.
- afrodite 🐠May 14, 2014The roasted duck is indeed a heaven in mouth. Ask to debone. Try the hot n sour soup, it's brilliant!!!! Friendly and quick service.
- Abby TeeMay 6, 2016They had the best roasted pork, chicken and even peking duck! Food was brilliant just that the waiters were quite rude. At least SMILE?
- Valentina CoveyMarch 25, 2016One of the best restaurants in Chinatown. Thoroughly recommend the Cantonese duck and fish with sweet corn.
- carthesianFebruary 1, 2019Aggressive and shouting waiters but great food (I love roast duck). Don't go to have quiet and romantic lunch.
- Alvaro RodriguezAugust 1, 2013The first really good meal I had in Chinatown. Nice duck, tasty chicken with mushrooms and good dumplings. Service quite stiff though.
- Sze OoiJune 27, 2016Ordered roast duck, braised tofu and kongpoh pork. A total waste of money except for the braised tofu. Please go to the branch at Bayswater for the roast duck and other dishes!!
- Chloe KhorJune 2, 2017Good place to go if you miss Chinese food in London. The hot and spicy soup is very tasty , roasted duck is good. However the rest of the dishes are pretty average.
- Mohammed DessokyOctober 7, 2013Go to the other branch ... at the end of the alley go left 20 meters on the right.... same quality. . Faster services. . And yes.. enjoy the duck on rice..
- Sarocha RachawongAugust 27, 2015Famous roasted duck is really good, i also love the soup and fried tofu with salt and chilli
- Kd YanJuly 31, 2019Great place for Cantonese food and delicious duck. Brought friends from HK who also enjoyed it
- S PDecember 1, 2016Usual #164 or 165 (2/3 combination BBQ meat) or 343/344 (smaller portions on rice) and a #288 (stir fried green Chinese vegetables) with a small bowl of rice. A must on a London trip...
- Jason KeetOctober 5, 2011This is the better one out of the two in china town. Always get a seat and speedy. Try the pork and duck combo with rice. Lovely stuff
- Isaac NgApril 3, 2016The Chinese restaurant I've been to the most. No doubt about their roasted duck boom !!!
- Pin Lean LauJuly 9, 2013Love the service here- fast and friendly staff. Roasted duck is to-die-for!!!! So good!!!
- May LimJune 7, 2014Probably it is just best in London and definitely not in other parts of the world. Roasted crispy pork belly is not crispy at all. Roast duck is absolutely normal!nothing to shout about.
- Vicky GlezMarch 17, 2015No frills Peking Duck. Best in China Town on a budget. Service is not great but the food makes up for it
- Oleksiy OmelyanchukDecember 21, 2019Good food. Hustling waiters wanting you to pay and leave while you are still eating. To sit the next customers.
- Mae Ling W.July 22, 2014Extremely horrible service. Most of their staffs are rude. They're also quite oblivious to calls for service. The duck is just okay. There are better. Peking duck is better than aromatic crispy duck
- TeeOctober 19, 2014Roast duck with rice is pretty much the only dish i order here and it's awesome!!
- Well u got to go with the duck one of the best , and pickel chillies are great
- Emily-janeFebruary 13, 2018It's ok, authentic busy China town experience, the roast duck and pork are thier standouts, the rest really is average, but fresh and not too greasy! Pricey too!!!!
- Ronald LohJuly 2, 2012Great place for Roast Duck, but their BaysWater Brunch is known to be the best in London.
- Danny HengJanuary 17, 2023Sad to say, it’s no longer as good. Their famous roast duck was tasteless, hot and spicy soup tasted watered down. Probably the last time I’m coming here again.
- LondonByLaurenApril 30, 2015Service can be a bit hit or miss, but the price is right and the duck is superb!
- Milky WiboonwattanakitDecember 12, 2016The roast duck is ok but the fried rice as the basic menu that's supposed to be nice is very disappointing. It's just like steamed rice mixed with meat.
- Chris R (thechristophe)January 24, 2015Everyone I went with liked it. Standard Chinese place, good value for money. Average vegetarian options, not all tasty.
- Tomas PetrikaitisFebruary 11, 2017Used to be very good. This now changed and you will feel fooled! The most loyal customers are now off. Management goes wrong!
- Christopher ChanJanuary 3, 2017Roast duck is highly recommended, but beware the severely unfriendly, mostly non English-speaking and rude staff members. If you think nothing could come close to ruining great crispy duck, think again
