- Carl GriffinJuly 30, 2016Beautiful ivy clad 18th century hotel. Excellent position on the banks of the River Ouse. Great real ales.
- Simon GriffithsFebruary 19, 2019The food is great. Nice atmosphere. the rooms are cozy but roomy. bit expensive but you get what you pay for.
- Stephen CrockerDecember 26, 2015The service was incredibly slow. The lemon tart was very tasty but the fishcake looked as if it had escaped from one of the Alien films.
- Jo GiffordFebruary 2, 2013Amazing place to stay or come for tea and scones or wine and some lovely bar snacks.
- Did I mention how the staff accommodate pita guests, like me, as only top notch French restaurants do.
- Not only great selection ... But at a good price too. Knowledgable cellar master will guide you if you ask.
- Outstanding service , excellent food and a v good wine shop. Great - even if it's just for a coffee
- This is a much better option for accommodation than the Marriott. Much better beer, and free wifi!
- Dom FletcherDecember 21, 2015Food decent but staff somewhat annoying - trying too hard to be professional and losing their personality in the process
- Patio area being extended, should be great for the summer
