- Travel + LeisureJune 11, 2013A visit to the Vineyard isn’t complete without a stop at this waterfront landmark. Grab a seat at an outdoor picnic table and order a lump crab cake sandwich and a bowl of quahog chowder.
- Laura YehMay 6, 2017Wonderful setting, feels like you are in an old tavern. Great food. We had the best best salad ever and the Shaggy attack (eggs Benedict with avocado and tomato) was fabulous.
- Michael GogelAugust 15, 2015Go at 3:55PM to get presidential treatment. The restaurant switches over from lunch to dinner at 4PM. There will be no line and if you're real lucky you'll have the whole restaurant to yourself.
- Meredith GadsbyAugust 12, 2019Had a delicious lobster Benedict! My party of 10 enjoyed our breakfast. Everything was fresh and yummy. The pancakes are massive so if you want a small order be prepared to share. We will return!
- Tracy IsaacJuly 6, 2015If you need a coffee fix before the 6:30/7:00 AM ferry, run, don't walk to this cute, rustic spot for caffeine and pastries.
- Matthew CooperAugust 20, 2014Often crowded but worth a visit to the iconic spot. Some love the chowder but I found it heavily floured. The mussels, though, were excellent.
- Lori K. http://www.lkpheartsfood.netApril 16, 2015Touristy spot but excellent breakfasts and you can't beat the location- walking distance to/from the ferry!
- Dory MacielSeptember 17, 2013A staple on the island. Wish Vineyard Haven was the only place that you could still get black dog items! Food is good enough!
- Maribeth PrioreDecember 8, 2011Great breakfast's & lovely views of the harbor with a lot of activity including the ferry boats. Not dry anymore, voted in beer & wine in Vineyard Haven.
- Bianca PaciAugust 4, 2015Fish stew is great! All the food is tasty especially the sandwiches. The service is perfect!
- Austin OB @ Luxx dining club Cape CodMarch 5, 2014Vineyard haven is beer and wine only. So you can get a great cold beer or nice glass of red however you won't find a margarita here.
- Tracey IngleMarch 13, 2011For veggie lovers, get the Green Monster. All sorts of goodness in this. I like mine sans cheese, no toast, and add a side of bacon.
- Popular but always mediocre breakfast spot. Inconsistent quality lately. People love the hash and kids love chocolate chip pancakes.
- get: crab cakes! lobster roll. the burger with roasted red bell pepper. sit by the window. go for late lunch to avoid crowds.
- David DoughtyAugust 1, 2011probably the most reasonably priced place to eat on the island (and it's delicious). Read more
- Benjamin PalmerAugust 29, 2010Good brunch options: Eggs & fish cakes, blueberry pancakes, and the housemade hash as a side for the table.
- Tyson GoodridgeNovember 27, 2010Breakfast is best value here. Come early and watch ferries come in and out. Walk down coastwise dock. Say hit to Jamie, Robby or Morgan Douglas
- Jeffrey YoungerMay 10, 2011Vineyard Haven is NOT dry anymore as they are allowed to serve wine and beer with a meal. You should still be aware however that a cup of chowder and a side salad is NOT considered a meal.
- Sereita CobbsAugust 28, 2012They serve breakfast until 11am and then reboot for lunch beginning at Noon.
- Beer and wine are now available and brunch is the best here!!!!
- Robby MossAugust 13, 2010If you have dessert - get the strawberry rhubarb with a scoop of vanilla...good stuff.

- Kristine Munroe-MahoneyJuly 4, 2010Didn't know that Vineyard Haven was a dry town and went there thinking we could get a beer, being it's a tavern. Oops! Still good though. Try the clam chowder
- Emily LeeSeptember 21, 2013The worst lobster roll I've had! All claw meat & extremely salty. Disappointed
