- Michael MorganSeptember 23, 2021Really cute bar with AMAZING pastries! I ordered the ham & cheese croissant and it was delicious. I was eyeing the jalapeño cheese bread and the pretzels too. Nice variety of sweet/savory!Upvoted 6 hours ago
- The beloved breakfast sampler is no longer on the menu, but I successfully convinced the kitchen to make me one. Bircher muesli, soft-boiled egg, pretzel croissant. They forgot the jam though!
- Connie ChiuAugust 4, 2018Great coffee + pastries! The pretzel bacon gruyere croissant and ginger scone are my fav. Hazelnut croissant is good too.
- Björn RobelJanuary 17, 2015Pretty Cool! (For Germans) I mean walking through L.A. and suddenly entering a German bakery,...wow,...also having pretty good quality.
- They have a deli case with beverages like mint lemonade and "freshly-squeezed orange juice" in to-go cups. It may not matter to most, but be forewarned: it is NOT fresh-squeezed oj (and still $3.75).
- Cute, hip little breakfast spot with excellent omelettes and pretzel rolls
- We like to order hamburger and hot dog pretzel and brioche buns from here. They need a day's notice. Totally worth it!
- William McKieAugust 19, 2014Very tasty. Chocolate Salty Caramel Eclair, although expensive (6$!) rocked.
- Highly recommend their breakfast sampler, just wish it came on the same plating as their sister restaurant's (3 Square) version.
- Todd HeughensJune 7, 2019Rockenwagner is the best. Great coffee, espresso and food. Jeremy and the whole staff rock!
- The croissants can be hit or miss. One day they are perfectly flaky on the outside and chewy on the inside, come another day and they taste day old.
- Amazing avocado toast and a real deal Bavarian pretzel!
- All the art on the walls has silhouettes of women with guns. A little creepy and hard to explain to kids.
- Keep your to go cup, because the second one is only .50 cents if in the same day.
- Gig CogoDecember 29, 2010Tried the almond croissant today & it was DELICIOUS! also love the strawberry & apricot pastries!
- Josh GrondieMarch 17, 2010Rockwnwagner is now baking 'Laugencroissants.' I've never seen these outside of Germany and they're spot-on perfect.
