- Service a bit slow but food was delicious - fish of the day and banana bread with peanut butter ice cream! Staff were nothing but friendly.
- Pulse RadioDecember 1, 2011Great little pub tucked away in Dalston. Some good beats from DJs on Sunday arvo/evenings. Rumour has it some pretty cool Aussies have served behind the bar here.
- Generous portions of excellent food. The roast pork belly is consistently fantastic! Great atmosphere (especially on Sundays) and friendly staff.
- Rhodes Edewor-ThorleyAugust 15, 2017Good selection of gin and beers. great on a sunny afternoon. Food is decent as well.
- Joe TJune 1, 2013Great vibe, friendly staff and relaxing place to have a few pints with mates away from the hustle and bustle of kingsland.
- James FergusonJune 6, 2022Nice little boozer with wide selection of drinks. Outdoor tables perfect for warm days.
- Jodie GallagherOctober 28, 2014Was previously one of my favourite Sunday roasts but in the past 18 months it's gone downhill a wee bit! Beef was still good, but vegetables a bit bland and overall not what it once was!
- Silvia TeschnerApril 21, 2013Great pub, excellent food, extra friendly staff and really nice neighbourhood! Liked it VERY much!
- Try the Roast Beef - Best roast in shoreditch I have found so far. Get horseradish if you have beef.
- Jo HalsteadSeptember 14, 2012Love the fairy lights on the roof terrace at night. Really sweet little pub and friendly staff.
- jason pJuly 5, 2019Plus: Serves alcohol. Negative: pretty much just serves alcohol. Not a lot of charm
- Emma BlackApril 14, 2013First sunny Sunday in London and what better way to celebrate than with a roast. Shame the waiter was such an ass. Won't be coming back that quickly.
- Harry SewellSeptember 13, 2011Friendliest staff in the land! No pretence in an area full of hipster douche bags
- Carolina RibeiroApril 18, 2010Nice outside space for sunny days. Not too busy on a saturday afternoon.
- Hector ProudAugust 15, 2010The cheese board is a *bit* of a rip off. Lots of crackers plus three sad, thin, sad slithers of cheap cheese. Nice pub tho.
- Don't order a Peroni as it will cost you £1 more than all the other lagers. Food is average but overpriced, better off visiting a local restaurant instead.
