This place is celebrating 30year anniversary They were founders of christie's before that. The only place in Houston for best fried shrimp in the 70's. Food was great but cocktail was just ok

Get an entree and skip the appetizer--or vice versa! Save room for dessert. The banana pudding, bread pudding, and creme brulee are worth it!

They have a bowl of gumbo and garden salad for lunch that is super filling for $11.95. Nice!

The food was fantastic, if distinctly salty. Props to the professional service. Do not go if you are looking for a quiet dining experience. The bar area was especially noisy.

This is a great place to eat. We had a bad server...brought the dinner before the salad and before the "before dinner drink".but we will be back. Its noisy so be prepared but really good!

This pappadeaux was much better than the one further down Westheimer. The server was just okay, he could've done a few things better.

Their steaks are the same as the more expensive pappas bros next door but a little cheaper. But you pay for it with a louder (screaming kids) atmosphere.
