- Still my favorite lobster roll in the Hamptons, I don't care what anyone else says! Get it with potato salad & cole slaw, on the sesame roll. Sit outside on the deck, and enjoy the view!
- HeatherAugust 16, 2015This is the last season owned by original owners, so now is the time to try it. Lobster roll is best on the peninsula. Clam chowder is outstanding. Service is quick and efficient.
- Shiri LaraJuly 3, 2016This was my favorite place in Montauk. It's situated on the water & offers amazing views during sunset. We had the clam bake & lobster w a side of corn but it comes w corn! The dish was amaze + rosé.
- Alyssa B.September 7, 2022I was told to wait 150 mins, but in reality they called after 75 mins. Fast service, delicious skirt steak and lobster roll! Not solo-diner friendly, almost all food was for sharing (yay takeout!)
- aj (andrea jo)July 22, 2018Everyone says to try the chowder, and they were so right! The chowder and bread were the highlight of the meal. Salads are family style and huge and delicious. Whole grilled lobster is the way to go!
- Stina P.April 28, 2014duryea's is the epitome of local beach town and quaint montauk. it's cash only and the deck is right on the bay. the lobster roll and clam chowder soup are the best i have ever had.
- 🌺 شJuly 3, 2021The restaurant has a great view, the food is impeccable and so fresh. It’s not a paper plate place as it was before . New ownership and it’s definitely Montauk style fir the jet setters. Don’t miss it
- Sandro PuglieseAugust 25, 2020Beautiful spot. Tables on a pier, need I say more? Very long wait, could easily be 2-3 hours. Grab a drink at the market and chill by the water or get takeout.
- People watching at its best… the crowd they bring it now is quite something.. nice renovations. Very over priced but worth the experience if you have time to wait
- The Corcoran GroupMarch 14, 2011One-of-a-kind place to really “Eat Out’ for lunch or dinner. Order your food inside, grab a table out on the deck, or take it to go. They only serve soft beverages, no alcohol.
- EdJune 6, 2013Incredibly over-priced. Lobster by the pound is way down, has been for over 2-years, yet prices keep soaring? Not cool. Overall, food is good, great, friendly service and a killer view.
- Nichole CheekSeptember 1, 2012I fancy myself a lobster roll coniseur, and this is my hands down favorite. Order the chowder too! A-maizing. And steamed lobster? As if they plucked them from the sea as you wait :)
- Megan MastersJuly 1, 2023Beautiful place at the end of the world. Don’t come on a budget, you’ll starve.
- Benjamin PalmerJuly 26, 2014This place rules! Cash only and BYOB so plan ahead. Lobster roll or some crab or whatever its all good. Quiet spot
- Mike O'SullivanSeptember 9, 2017Take in the views with one of the best lobsters around. Don’t sleep on the daily seafood specials either
- Bill O'LearyFebruary 13, 2015Enjoy it while you can before it turns into a proper restaurant. Bring beer to drink while waiting for your table and dress warm.
- Travel + LeisureJune 14, 2012Bring a bottle of rosé to Duryea’s, set on a rocky Montauk outcropping and renowned for its well-priced lobster. Just be prepared for a long wait.
- Elizabeth LocalioAugust 10, 2014Duryea's has fallen victim to the over popularity of Montauk. Once a reasonably priced place to have a great lobster. Now a ridiculously overpriced trap for drunken weekenders.
- GiGi DownsJuly 15, 2011Go for the view. Bring cash & YOB. Avoid the oysters. Go for the lobster roll, like everyone says
- Byob and fresh fish. Perfect for a Hamptons summer night. Come early to avoid long waits and surprisingly cold night breezes.
- Mayra AmancioJuly 19, 2014Best sunset view! Bring your on drinks. My favorite salmon and lobster salad in Montauk!! :)
- Jennifer SmithAugust 27, 2018*there is no table side service. When you’re seated you get a check list that you need to fill out and take to the checkout counter. Otherwise you will be sitting there for a while!
- Deborah BJuly 7, 2017Food is fresh but they charge you for water ($4) saying they need to donate the money. Way overpriced for small portions or something weird like $15 for a lot of corn on the cob. Family style whatever
- BYOB...great lobster roll, if not a touch too bready. Amazing steamed cherrystones with garlic butter yum yum!!
- christian svanes koldingJuly 11, 2017new owners, new vibe, where the fresh catch of the day are the new sky-high prices. dig in.
- LisetteAugust 4, 2017The place is lovely and the views are incredible, but the food is very over priced for the minuscule quantities you get.
- Tonya TibbsJuly 6, 2012The lobster roll is great, but Cyril's is better. Less bread, less mayo, & they have booze!
- Michael HeilemannJuly 14, 2016Nice food, great location, after the rebuild also way, way too pricey.
- Sunny NgSeptember 1, 2014The clam chowder is amazing. Skip the scallops, they're overpriced, overcooked and they're small pieces.
- EatMeDrinkMeNYCAugust 31, 2010Take your own wine. Take your own bottle opener. Take your own lobster fork. And go at sunset!!
- Joe MedvedAugust 2, 2010Gorgeous views. BYOB, beer and wine only. Liquor store 5 minutes away in town.
- Lisa ParavanoAugust 7, 2013aside from the killer sunset locale, totally over-priced, overrated & disappointing. maybe it was better when it was "off the radar"
- Local KnitMay 16, 2011Check out the official Duryea's tee at http://localknit.com. Oh yeah, and don't forget to BYOB! Read more
