- Keyue BaoMarch 31, 2017Amazing ramen (get Orenchi Ramen), karaage is tender and juicy but not amazing, takoyaki is out of this world - would also recommend coming at 5:15 to put your name down to avoid the line
- Jason HidalgoOctober 28, 2014Ramen gets spotlight but karaage and calamari so good, you might wanna mix some into your ramen :) Takoyaki's one of the better ones I've had in U.S. Sit at left end of bar to see blow torch action
- Mike WinstonOctober 30, 2014Orenchi is simply the best ramen joint in the Bay Area. Don't miss the deeply rich Orenchi Ramen, meaty and crispy Karaage, or perfectly executed Takoyaki and read about it on WinstonWanders below!! Read more
- Ask for the "VDubb Special," which is a large (oomori) Orenchi Ramen with an extra egg, spicy oil, and mega cha-shu, and it was amazing!!!! Best ramen dish ever!
- I've never eaten anything bad here. The Age Takoyaki (fried octopus dumplings) are a great way to start the meal. Kids really love the Cha-Shu Gohan rice dish. Its perfectly sized and well priced.
- Paulo SantosAugust 19, 2014First time at Orenchi Ramen.. It definitely won't be my last. Top 3 bowls of ramen I've eaten in my life (LA, NY, and SF). Coming back to the Tsukemen next time!
- Mariah MOctober 16, 2014the shoyu is disappointing. the orenchi ramen is great, light and flavorful. small portions for toppings. theyre always busy, but orenchi ramen is the best ramen in south bay definitely.
- Lisa DinoMay 25, 2016Orenchi Ramen was quite good and definitely try it if you've never had ramen before. Although I have very high standards for ramen so I wouldn't say it was the best. I liked the atmosphere and decor.
- Chris SFebruary 7, 2015A good tonkotsu is one of the best things you will ever eat. Orenchi's is quite good, but it's not the best ever. Second best that I've found. I don't know if I would wait in a 2hr line for it again.
- Kelley L.May 31, 2019The wait here can get ridiculously long. The ramen is okay but pricey (almost $20 for a large bowl and one extra topping). The tako wasabi is really good though and highly recommended.
- Brandon WilliamsonAugust 27, 2014Worth the wait! Get here early and get your name on the list. Great prices for delicious and quality ramen. Try the fried chicken!
- This is still THE Ramen place to beat in the Bay Area. This is the closest to the Ramen served in Tokyo, Japan. Arrive 30mins/1hr before opening and sign in inside, start with "Orenchi Ramen".
- Jordan StanisciaSeptember 28, 2014Jesus, this place is good. Get the special Orenchi ramen and Karage w/ orange sauce! You'll be delighted by the amazing broth and soft pork. The egg is like heaven.
- Brian StraussJune 5, 2015The ramen is stunningly good. But everything else is too. Amazing Napa cabbage salad. Fried chicken is delicious.
- Edna LoJanuary 3, 2015This place is so good. I got the tsukemen and it was well worth the wait. Make sure to get there early if u don't want to wait in line for hours!
- Tim DengAugust 11, 2017Some of the best ramen I have ever had. Absolutely delicious. Pay a little extra for additional meat.
- It's pretty impressive they always offer same high quality ramen whenever I go no matter how clouded they are. It's true Japanese experienced craftsmanship. I only wish the wait is shorter.
- AprilMay 19, 2013Good ramen; definitely one of those places that forces you to wait. There's a room you can see from the waiting room and it always empty - I guess you don't need to accommodate when you're famous
- Juston PayneSeptember 22, 2013If they have Ore no Tsuke Men (dipping noodles) left, DO IT. They only have 15 servings per day so it's worth arriving early to nab one of them.
- Sara MMay 21, 2018Awesome orenchi Ramen, with a rich and creamy, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The wasabi marinated raw octopus was a dream!
- DarkAugust 5, 2015Come early otherwise you'll be waiting in line for at least 1.5 hours. Order their classic orenchi ramen!
- Serious EatsSeptember 9, 2013Amidst the stiff competition, Orenchi's tonkotsu ramen will be the one you remember most. Yes, it's even worth the inevitable two hour line. Show up very, very early.
- Tom McGhanMarch 19, 2012House made-noodles, and maybe the best soft-boiled egg around makes this one of my top ramen places in the bay! Just come at an off-peak time or be prepared to wait...
- Best ramen in the bay area. Hip hop on the sound system and excellent fried chicken, what could be better? Be prepared for a long wait though.
- Add Spinach to your orenchi ramen!! Get karage and ask for the orange sauce to dip. Order lots of sake and beer. Oh and don't do all this by yourself! Bring all your friends!!! Pow!
- Rob Von BargenMarch 13, 2014The food was great definately going back…i liked the Orenchi and also the karage(chicken appetizer) very good. Very first time their
- Gladys LeeJune 14, 2012If you're coming for dinner, you can get there before their opening time, walk in, and put your name on the sign-in sheet. There's usually a long list by the time it officially opens.
- Jason BerlandJanuary 24, 2018Really good onion rings . The okonomiyaki fries are ok. Not as good as Nojo. The Kawaba Snow Weizen was 👌
- Make sure to get here 10-15 minutes before opening time, especially during busy days (Thursday-Sunday) to be sure to be served during the first round.
- Come half an hour before opening and put your name on the list. Take a nap and dream of amazing ramen.
- Jorge Suarez BasañezJune 20, 2017Try the Orenchi Ramen - So close to our offices! Best thing evaaaaaaaa (via @Foodspotting)
- Thaniya KeereepartJune 1, 2013Namesake ramen is good. Broth not too oily for tonkontsu. Nice fresh noodles. Menma is a little bland. Char siu is too thin. Main winner is the perfect soft boiled egg. Come early or wait in line.
- Alessandro MingioneOctober 25, 2014Probably the best Tonkotsu in the bay, and it looks like a lot of people know this. Prepare to stay in line for over an hour.
- Jonny YoungMay 15, 2016put your name on the list then go buy a 6 pack from grocery outlet to drink in the car while you wait
- BurpOctober 30, 2011If you want to come here for lunch, come in before 11:15am to get seated at 11:30. Else, you'll have to wait for 30-45 minutes when the 1st round of diners finish eating.
- Can't go wrong with the Orenchi ramen (tonkatsu base).
- Rosanne ChanFebruary 15, 2014everything about the 'orenchi ramen' is fantastic, tonkotsu broth was on freaking point.
- Jay HawkinsonFebruary 15, 2013Show up at 11 for lunch and put your name on the list. You'll get a seat in the first round.
- Jeremy LuAugust 2, 2013This place is extremely crowed, either get there early or late. Or go by just 1 or 2 person to get a table fast.
- Fahd AnantaDecember 10, 2012Long wait time but totally worth it. Awesome ramen. Their fried chicken is also really good.
- Shirley TsangJanuary 9, 2015The orenchi ramen and ore no tsukemen is pretty good. Wait is kinda ridiculous though.
