- I like this Airport because in the departure section the have places where you can plug your devices. And has wifi.
- Leinie Lodge outside security and Founders Prospect Hill Brewing just inside! What’s not to love? Conveniently close rental car drop off and easy breezy security.
- Gregg PullanoJune 15, 2015Still one of my favorite airports. Grab some Quiznos in the main waiting room and head up to the second floor for a great view of the field and concourses.
- This has always been a great regional airport, but recent upgrades make this a GREAT regional airport. Easy parking, efficient security lines, comfy seating and great local food and drink options.
- Airport security has the patience of saints. So many I'll prepared travelers going through here. Grab your id and take off your coat and shoes already! :)
- One of the fastest airports I have ever been in, though I live here and wait till the last minute to get here for my flights and am usually running a bit. Quick security lines and small size helps.
- I love this airport, is small and almost all the employees are super nice.
- It's about time they combined security, and have a shared hall of concessions. Pro tip: for early flights, give yourself an hour before takeoff. Lots of flights stack, causing security lines.

- Katharine ChiarloSeptember 28, 2014Car rental is on-site. Friendly TSA agents! Clean bathrooms. Lots of easy access plugs to charge your devices. Refill stations designed for water bottles.
- Recent updates have really improved the airport. The Founders bar is a great place to grab a beer and a snack while waiting to board.
- James TockFebruary 24, 2014@Flynshine picked up my car at GRR, thoroughly detailed it, then texted me the day of my return and met me on the curb with my car. I would've spent more in parking then the cost of the $200 detail!!
- Welcome to West Michigan! Tips are brutal. I've flown in & out plenty and haven't had any issues. Always check in beforehand and prepare for security to avoid delays, applies to ALL airports.
- Will Jobin-AcostaAugust 25, 2012Little sandwich shop in the terminal is so good. Try the Grand Rapid Sunrise. It's so worth it! Yum!
- Small Town airport with lots of onsite parking and easy to get in and out of. Watch out for the dopes that park their car waiting for someone to come out in the arrival area.
- Greens is a great option for light meals and has many choices. It is a brand new addition to the food court(!)
- Hang out at the observation area to watch planes take off. Enter in off of 54th street.
- Sometimes you have to have your liquids and gels out, sometimes not - be ready! Also, give yourself plenty of time, it's a mellow airport, but lots of non-regular travelers who get confused, etc.
- Check out the visitor information center at the baggage claim. Find info about Grand Rapids and even charge your phone in comfort!

- If you have a flight between 5-7 am, be sure to arrive extra early and prepare to wait in a long line. All other times of the day are a breeze.

- Valet parking is amazing in winter or if running late to catch a flight!
- Please remove the first shuttle sign in the pick up area. We waited for the parking shuttle there and it drove by the group if 6, 3 times.

- You may think "regional airport, I'll breeze through security"... Wrong! make sure to give yourself time because it is often a freakshow.

- Jack AboutboulMay 17, 2012The airport is never really busy so you only need to arrive about 40 mins before your flight. There is free WiFi though, so if you get in early, make good use of your time.

- They recently implemented a partial TSA Pre program. Shoes, belt, and jacket can stay on if you qualify.

- Seems they only do AIT now, must opt-out but they are super easy with it. WiFi is no longer free so bring an air card!
- The GRR Airport now has a TSA preapproved line at security in Concourse A. Yay...this just adds to the convenience of this airport. kudos!

- Daniel SchenkelJanuary 3, 2014Line to check in and ticket counter and line to drop checked bags at tsa check in look the same. Ask which line you're in so you don't waste time. And leave 10 extra minutes for tsa bag drop.
