I love the petit vegan duo with a cup of their vegan soup of the day. I've also had the peacemaker sandwich which is delicious but messy and the Ethiopian vegan stew which is also good.

Hip breakfast spot full of bizarre paintings, Motown music and comfort food breakfast platters that are mouthwatering delicious. Matt's Morning Slider with cafe potatoes is heaven in your mouth.

Great drink and tap list! Always changing beer but always have good craft beers! Dinner entrees are much more pricey than lunch but very good! Easy to spend over $35 a person on dinner!

Husband loved the Chicago ribeye sandwich but the Asian salad was less than desired. They were accommodating and the yooper bean and bacon soup was so good I took a cup to go.

I love it here. Not only are the staff wonderful to customers, they are kind to each other! I've heard waitresses ask the kitchen if they need a drink or something from the back. Priceless!

A little pricey, trending toward an upscale vibe. Try the soup flight - the Curried Tenderloin soup is one of the best soups I have ever had.

No longer a laid back, reasonably priced soup and sandwich joint. Now a high priced bistro with an extensive bar and staffed with (very nice) hipsters. Pretension with a side of vegan.

Love this place! The Dark and Stormy is excellent, with a strong ginger kick. The atmosphere is warm, the menu is interesting, and the bread pudding is delightful.

I had the southwestern omelet - great. The hash browns were soft and buttery, the way I like them. My husband likes them crispy, so he was disappointed. His biscuits and gravy were a little cold.

Known for more than soup, the Soup Spoon Cafe has 12 Michigan micro-brews on tap, and... has a Mug Club created by local artisans from Clay Works pottery co-op!

I got the vegan ravioli and was disappointed. The choices made in the dish did not go well. For example, the seaweed did not make sense and it didn't fit. Weird. The bread appetizer was good though.
