Amazingly good food that doesn't break the bank. They can can REALLY busy and service can slow down because of it. Be ready for a slow meal, but it's worth it! Southern food done right!

Love The Basics, been going there for years, always a great choice. Brunch, lunch or dinner you can’t go wrong. One of my fav’s is the bird w. Hopping John and Mac n cheese.

Neat little spot on Front St. We had a rough wait time but that happens sometimes. The fried okra was great. The fish looked worth eating.

Pretty space, with great people watching from the front window. Wish the food was as good as the view. Flavorless migas and lousy coffee do not inspire a return trip.

Fried green tomatoes are yum! If you come early (before 5:30) not all entrees will be ready! (slow cookin'). Pecan pie was pretty good.

Pretty poor customer service. Some of their waitstaff have sour attitudes. It put a huge damper on my dining experiences, and I am hesitant to ever give them by business again.
