- You know you're in Sonoma County when the "what not to take through the security checkpoint" display includes a giant bottle of Dr. Bronner's. It's all about the travel sizes folks.
- Kathy BehrenrothApril 23, 2013Every passenger can check in one case of wine for no charge. This is seriously the only airport to fly to when visiting Sonoma County. Small and convenient. So glad we didn't waste our time w/ SFO.Upvoted 2 weeks ago

- David AAugust 25, 2013Driving here? Ignore apple maps directions! Siri has done it again! Arrived in the fields opposite from the terminal! Not exactly where we had intended🙆
- Be sure to pick up a Wine Road map before you leave the terminal. Your map to 190 wineries and 50 lodgings. Happy wine tasting :-)
- The Avis/Budget employees are the nicest and most helpful rental car staff ever!
- Horizon gate crew here can be rude & unhelpful. Get through security in plenty of time. They will shut the gate and leave you behind even if you are snagged for a pat down & went thru in time

- Elana LeoniJune 22, 2012Don't even try to get on the free wifi -- it's super spotty. Instead, kick back at the Sky Lounge bar with a Russian River beer.
- If you're flying one of those Horizon prop planes, make sure your carry-on is small because they might have to put it down below. There's no extra fee, but they might not treat your bag too well.
- Welcome to Sonoma Wine Country! Visit http://mobi.sonomacounty.com for visitor information on wineries and things to do or download the iVisit Sonoma County iPhone app. Cheers!
- Word of advice: If you're flying Horizon, be sure to be here at least an hour before takeoff or else they won't let you check-in. I got here 20 mins before takeoff and they wouldn't let me on! STUPID!
- Fast, great sushi at the restaurant here before takeoff
- They are now strict about check In and leave the counter - 40 min before takeoff. There will be NO ONE to print a boarding pass - don't miss the deadline.
