Dominic TamJanuary 7, 2016The original New Shanghai (the others are in Chatswood). Don't miss the fried dumplings, shanghaiese noodle, mini wonton with prawn & mini pork dumplings. Sadly you will need to pay for the tea.
Ashleigh JayneMarch 25, 2015I loved all the Dim Sim's, they are all worth a try! This place is great for a group so you can order heaps and share. The service was slow to begin with but the food came out fast.
Dumplings are really, really good - the best we've had in the area. Crispy duck and braised pork are delicious as well.

Drunken chicken to start. Pan fried and northern style pan fried dumplings are big winners here. The dumplings are great but the rest of the dishes are average. Stay away from the salted egg tofu.

Lily WangFebruary 16, 2012Don't go there if u value your life. Still feeling nauseous from lunch meal of lamb dumplings. Seeing a cockroach crawling across the wall certainly didn't help!
Service has been getting worse. Dumplings are great but try the place next door or across the road.

Rae MoAugust 4, 2012Worst service ever. 203 pan fried pork buns was burnt on the bottom and undercooked on top. The mushroom and pork wonton was ok but the soup broth it was in was bland.
