They have amazing private rooms upstairs and a lovely cocktail bar. Good food and drinks, not so much the pastries.

Such cheap soda and lime. (I no longer drink so finding this place with a 85p soda and lime is my dream.) Staff are friendly and not too busy. Love it.

The Breaded Brie is to die for (as in you'll probably die from eating deep-fried cheese) but it's worth it!

Pretty much what you'd expect a Gastropub to be. Really good scotch eggs, and a very solid, if not spectacular, Sunday Roast.

Pretty average food, down to earth, not modern or hip but reliable. Coffee is not artisinal and feels like the 90's in style of food and drinks. However, good back to basics spot when you need it.

Bit of a local for the British Library staff. It's a pretty decent place, most remarkable for its unlikely location, but perhaps not the treasure that some make it out to be.

Good well looked after selection of cask ales. Food is good but bit pricey for tapas. Plated mains are good.
