Modern Japanese with a nice vibe. The beef is great, decent sushi and a nice twist in the dessert menu. You can choose red or white miso. Tasting menus available but book in advance.
Oh... my!!! 😍 What a life changing experience!!! 😲❤️I have no words for the salmon nigiri, quality out of this world! Same goes for the black cod! Beef fillet & spicymashed sweet potatoes... 10/10!
Try the yellowtail with yuzu and black truffle oil it's so refreshing. The grilled seabass is finely cooked - crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Fresh sashimi and the ricehotpot is good too!
Seared salmon with ponzudressing is a must. For the Maki’s go with the sake to avocadomaki, piripiri maguro maki, or the ebi furai maki. Beef fillet for main course.
Premium tasting menu: A little taste of everything. High end ingredients, and go for some japanese beer and sake aside to make it as 'authentic' as possible. Epic dessert dish at the end.
The sakura cherry blossomcocktail and cod fillet was amazing. If you go there you have to try it. also the chicken wings and thinly sliced tuna was amazing aswell.
Order soft shell crabmaki with calif. maki. I've got prawn tempura and black coddumplings. Sea bream was next and for the desert I ordered almond cake. Finished with 2 mojito's. Great!
I had miso, black code/crab dumplings and set of nigiri - all excellent. Dark chocolate &green teadessert amazing! Superb service. Dinner for one was 65 pounds, including laser operation donation(?)
Black cod is great, also the lamb is yummy, everything's of a great quality! The tasting menu seems like a long list but each is literally a small taste so it's really not a large amount of food!
the atmosphere of the Restaurant with the open grill and the bar downstairs is way beautiful. A true japanese bar with large selection of sake and sake based cocktails. Good for a nice and cozy night.
The service was amazing from the start, all the staff were lovely, super helpful. had the seasonal tasting menu, it’s great. Food was great and was brought out in a timely manner,
Great ambiance. very fancyjapanese restaurant. Food is good, but small portions and very expensive. the service is impeccable) u can enjoy ur food cooking right in the middle of restaurant. Enjoy!
Buzzing place centered around their robata grill. Western-Japanese approach like Nobu including their iconic dishes. Stand-out were the lamb cutlets with Korean spices; Rock shrimp and sashimi so-so.
A bit more style than substance. The tasting menu offered little more than what you find at your local Japanese restaurant. The dessert was the best part.
Really nice japanese restaurant. If you're not that used to japanese food you should try one of the the tasting menus. Big plus for a large selection of whiskey and sake.
Superb! The only problem was that we ordered many dishes, some of them hot and they brought us everything together while we were still eating sushi. I recommend duck breastrobata!
It may not be the first thing you'd pick from the menu but trust me: the ko nasu (aubergine in mirin, ginger and soy) is very very special. You will nor regret ordering this dish...
Best food ever..made with love and passion and you can taste it..great job is behind every single dish..warm and frendly atmosphere..Butterfish,kampachi salad, cod dumplings..is just heaven!+++
Excellent Japanese cuisine. Robata cuisine style. The sashimi is fresh. Tuna tartare is great, one of the best options. Baby back ribs are amazing, the secret glazed spot on. Full review... Read more
Zuma's sister differentiates itself thru robata grill. Don't forget to try great coctails in the basement before indulging yourself into tasty Japanese fare!
One of the best restaurants in London but it will punish your wallet. The black cod is superb. Read our full review on Scoff London: http://scofflondon.com/restaurants/roka-review-charlotte-street-w1/
Another posh Asian grubhole that can't decide if its a restaurant or a super exclusive nightclub. Despite the crisis of ambiance the black cod with yuzumiso is exquisitely good & the food 1st class.
Great food. Sadly ambience best for 10 year olds who have no interest in talking to their guests and happy for chef mickey shouting loudly every time someone orders at least broccoli...
