- There's a whole unused station just above the E/F/M/R level! Part of 1929's unfinished IND "Second System", It was for a new line running across queens to join a Myrtle/Central line to the Rockaways!
- Rebecca MirMarch 27, 2013On sunny mornings, if you transfer between the 7 and the underground trains by taking the stairs, you'll walk through purple light cast by the decorative window panels. So relaxing!
- Make sure you are either in the middle car or the first car depending on your direction. Everything else is a loss.
- Connect here for Q70 bus to LGA.. Go up the stairs from the platform and bus stop is directly or the left side door.
- Main escalator to the 7 trains is under construction until Jan 2015. Bypass stair crowds & stinky/oxygen-deprived elevator by going the opposite direction for TWO escalators that go to the 7, huzzah!
- John DunlevyMay 3, 2023Going to our from LaGuardia or have some time to kill at LaGuardia—take the free LaGuardia Link Q70 bus here and explore the immediate neighborhood. All kinds of food options in the vicinity!
- Need a good workout? Walk up the stairs from the lower level all the way up to the 7 platform. If you can.
- Karlan BaumannAugust 14, 2012The view of Manhattan from the Flushing platform is amazing. If you have a minute, check it out!
- Christine YOSeptember 16, 2010•Take the side entrances for the E/F/M/R. •There's a flower shop, ATM, and a soccer store located on the lower level of this station.
- Joey MoralesApril 14, 2011The taco stand with the green signs is a must for anyone who's drunk and trying to catch a cheap bite : ) good luck washing the smell from your clothes though!
- Jon Michael AnzaloneDecember 6, 2011Someone once pooped on the escalator and it went all the way to the top step, rolling endlessly like a 7-11 hot dog.
- Ghetto is a perfect word to.describe this location. Reggaeton blasting & the workers just look at you instead of helping

- Do not ride on the middle of the train because its gonna be stampede city for your feet so ride towards the back that way when you get off you'll be walking with the stampede instead of going into it
- Juan CruzJanuary 12, 2015Avoid during rush hour and if your disabled avoid this stop the elevators are more used by everyone but the disabled and often they are overcrowded and have 2 wait longer then it takes 2 use the stair
- The taco stands outside are great and you can get a giant chicken quesadilla for only $3!
- Jon Michael AnzaloneAugust 10, 2010Everyone runs down the stairs from the 7 to the escalator. Whoever is last to get there before you will stand and block it, even if they ran to get there.
- AHHH !!!! After the crowded stuffy E its good to get some "fresh" air on the 7 platform.
- If u see red lights on train tracks, that means, there wont be train, arriving on that side of station, they dont put up posters, or announce.
- Put up your mental dukes, rush hour is a fight for your sanity. Just saying. :p
- The Q47 only goes to Delta Shuttle at Marine Terminal. The Q33 goes to all the other airlines and terminals.
- Trains are extra crowded right now due to the US Open. Seats are hard to come by....
- move further away from the stairs. those train entrances will be less crowded.
- Stairs/escalator on the West side of the platform is the easiest
- Express trains stop on the local line during midnight+ hours.
- Try not to get run the fuck over by all this fools running for a train that comes every 2 minutes
- I still say Broadway Junction is more hectic and has worst staircases than this station!!!
