- Nat PiccioneAugust 18, 2017Egg Benedict and stuffed crepes are worth to die for! They are so good. And don't forget the coconut pancakes or their fried ice cream! So good!! S/O to waitress Toni, she's the best in this place! xx
- Travel + LeisureJune 14, 2012You’ll encounter lines outside this spot in Montauk for such indulgent combinations as the “ET” (chocolate and peanut-butter chips) and the “sabre” (coconut-filled and topped with coconut syrup).Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- The Corcoran GroupMarch 14, 2011Breakfast and lunch - Open EARLY in the morning. Specialty is crepes, but they have all sorts of pancakes for the young people, like ET pancakes made with chocolate & peanut butter chips. Get here ear
- Matt LJune 29, 2018Lady at the entrance wasn’t the friendliest, should really try and make a better first impression. Once inside it’s classic diner fare, well executed. Service at the counter was good.
- Heather WJune 11, 2011Great food! I enjoyed the breakfast burrito, and shared some of the whole waffle. Fun, relaxed atmosphere and friendly servers.
- Lindsay RobertsonMay 16, 2015Every vacation town has a beloved little diner with a line out the door, and this is Montauk's. Microwaved poached eggs, fake syrup and all. Mediocre. Skip!
- vivienne au-yangJuly 16, 2013Guy at coffee tauk recommended me this place. When I get to mr John's, they said no outside coffee and asked me to finish it quick. I find it pretty ironic...
- Nicolas SiverMay 23, 2019Could be a place to go for breakfast. It is not cheap. Food is just Ok. You can get crepes with ham and cheese. They accept cash only.
- Worth the wait. Better in the winter. Blueberry pancakes. Perfect sausage patties. Old lady waitresses. I love it.
- Damian BayonaJuly 22, 2015Standard diner fare. Careful with the extras as your bill can quickly add up.
- SabrinaFebruary 5, 2013Meh. Blueberry pancakes were not great. I only ate half of just one and believe me, im not one to do that. However bacon was good and I got an extra peice. :D
- Emilia AllonsoFebruary 20, 2017Nothing special but good pancakes, nice staff and opened during winter
- Amethyst ArboreJanuary 27, 2019It's very cramped, gave us sour milk three times and still charged us for the coffee, and overall between wait staff and the manager they clearly have no interest in customer service.
- Get a side of sausage. Look for Jerry Shrinefeld behind the counter.
- Try the blueberry pancakes in the summer when they're in season, they're so good they don't even need syrup!
- Dawn StephensMay 17, 2010Even though it's a pancake house, their crepes with strawberries, blueberries & bananas is really their "thing".
- Talisa ChangFebruary 27, 2012Crowded but not too crazy in the winter; go fo the pancakes or stuffed crepes.

- Sam HorineNovember 29, 2014Totally serviceable...though fake maple syrup for pancakes at montauk prices was a bummer.
- Andrea GayleNovember 14, 2010Stick to the griddle menu...unless you like tomato soup with clams passed off as chowder
- Christopher ReidAugust 25, 2010Overrated. Messed up orders, dry pancakes, overcrowded. After waiting a long time for a table, the orders do come relatively quick. I'd rather make my own breakfast though.
- Khoi VinhSeptember 3, 2011It costs nothing to be nice, but the bitter, unpleasant townies who run this place apparently can't afford even basic pleasantries. This place is awful.
- AntonioJuly 7, 2016Avoid this place! They're miserable and rude. Went with my family and they said there was a wait, meanwhile I see 6 tables empty, I asked about them and was told to go across the street.
- Timothy MinerDecember 31, 2012Sat here for 15 minutes. Was ignored by servers who were not particularly busy. I left. Terrible.
- Dana AlisonMarch 25, 2012Not worth the wait... go across the street to Anthony's. Better food, nicer staff, and no wait!
- vivienne au-yangJuly 16, 2013No pets. No strollers. No credit cards. No restrooms for non customers. No credit cards. No outside food. A lot of no's here. Guess when you're so busy, you really don't hv to care about your people?
- Paul ForsbergOctober 25, 2010Place was filthy - service terrible - prices outrageous. Go someplace else.
