- Colin CallanApril 29, 2014One of the best spots in Bath for real ale, quality cider and good wholesome food. This is one of those pubs with a really chilled atmosphere, no loud music and friendly staff and customers. 10/10
- Marisa PintadoSeptember 29, 2013The Heidi pie (with goats cheese & pumpkin) is delicious if you're in the mood for something veggie. Also mushy peas are only 70p on the side. That and a pint will sort you out for at least two days.
- J LSeptember 22, 2014Deerstalker pie with red wine and thyme is out of this world. Malt vinegar with the gravy for the chips works great.
- Tristan WebbAugust 29, 2011Highly recommended for real ale lovers - give the raven a try, dark, but soft and creamy with some pretty interesting flavours. Pies are spot-on, but make sure it comes with gravy or it's a bit stodgy
- Amy YMarch 13, 2016Amazing ales selection and tasty food to boot. Spicy Deer Bonnet pie with Raven ale gravy highly recommended.
- Douwe de VriesFebruary 23, 2017My favorite pub in Bath! Super nice atmosphere, very crowded but friendly people. Great selection of beers.
- chris allenOctober 19, 2011Last year's CAMRA Pub of the Year for Bath and Borders is still an excellent choice, serving amazing pies, and offering a huge selection of real ales, as well as real cider.
- Jaro O.January 25, 2011All mentioned above is true.. The pies are brilliant, the Raven ale really nice, cool atmosphere, liked it better upstairs.. would definitely recommend.. might be back myself, if I'm in Bath again..
- David HallMay 14, 2017The Raven's Ale Pie with red wine gravy & mash. Accompanied by Raven's Gold bitter!
- Carl GriffinDecember 14, 2015Two of the real ales are brewed especially for the pub by Blindmans brewery.
- Lloyd HendersonFebruary 28, 2015good little pub for a quiet pint and a read. pies and pints, no nonsense. staff knew what they talking about too.
- Dina FaridDecember 22, 2014Cosy pub offering delicious English pies in the beautiful city of Bath. Highly recommended.
- Excellent selection of guest ales - follow @theravenofbath for heads up on whats on tap. Suggest going upstairs if you want to sample their superb pies.
- Alexander PalmerDecember 30, 2014Best pies in bath. Nice selection of beers although they do not change much, but that isn't an issue
- Tiny pub so come in and grab a table if you can. Mulled cider is lovely around xmas time.
- No-nonsense beer and pies pub in the centre of Bath. More room upstairs.
- Dave MussonNovember 14, 2010Amazing pies! I loved the Raven Ale one but the rest of my party would also recommend the Mr Porky and the Matador ones. Excellent beer too!
- JonAugust 4, 2013Why is this a proper pub? Because the barman does the crossword with the locals. (The pies and ales are also great)
- Best spot for guest ales in Bath - different every time I'm there. The pies are not to be missed.
- Richard CarterJuly 12, 2013Huge range of beers, great pies. And, most importantly, there's an Airblade in the men's.
- Lisa Gray-WrightDecember 4, 2012Veggie pies are absolutely amazing! Good selection of real ales. Bit pricey though.
- Christopher FoxApril 15, 2013The pies rock and the ales pretty good too. Staff friendly and knowledgeable
- Yevgeny KuklytchevOctober 6, 2012Lovely little place, not a wide range of dishes, but the stuff they do is quality!
- Pie.And the great guest beers and ciders. Always busy, but rarely rammed.
- Great choice of ales, especially their domestic Raven's Gold
- Upstairs best if you're with the Mrs. Downstairs if your escaping from retail trauma or thirsty on your way home.
- Raven Gold, great 'cross over' beer for lager drinkers looking to to try 'real ale'.
- Kevin FranklinJanuary 6, 2010Great fairly traditional pub. Good ales, good ciders and wines and good food. Also does book club and others "games".
