Cool new hotel in Laguna Beach, steeped in history. Reopened just a few months ago. Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant, Larsen looks good. Great views or the beach.

Check out the artwork in the back of the lobby. There are pictures of Laguna Beach in a timeline from the 1800s to present day. Interesting history, especially the photos from the Great Depression.

go to the terrace cafe on the beach. patio is first come first serve. gorgeous Sunset. get the Chinese chicken salad and a pomegranate martini. ;)

Overpriced, run down and in need of soundproofed rooms. Like you are sleeping outside. My niece got locked in the bathroom for 15-20 minutes and had to have door kicked in to get out. Showers suck.
