- Tammi KwokOctober 26, 2014The lemon mint frappe is great for a hot day! But bring cash - eftpos minimum is $10
- Cheryl JohnsonMay 16, 2015Fantastic brekky esp shakshuka & Israeli big brekky. Staff were very friendly & quick service. Dog friendly
- Sean MDecember 9, 2018Amazing Breakfast options, busy but staff are great and getting you sorted out
- Open later than a lot of nearby cafés. Good for that late arvo slump. Also better to grab a grocery shopping FW here than risk a Woolies one...
- Paul FarrellJuly 1, 2016Very pleasant staff and a good coffee. Nice to set outside and watch the world pass by. Very child friendly.
- Truly the best coffee. I'm torn between Shenkin and The Kick two doors down. The falafel wrap with homemade pickled cabbage/carrots will make you a vego convert! Really really must try!
- Oliver MagroFebruary 21, 2015Have to drink decaf now - but theirs was decent. Had avocado on sourdough (just the right ripeness on the avocado), other breakfasts looked good too.
- Andrea B (cyberetto)December 1, 2009Try one of the special breakfast combos such as the dish with poached eggs in an abundant tomato and capsicum sauce, served with the fluffiest of fresh-made pita bread and 5 dips.
- The homemade chocolate goodies are to die for ESP the choc pyramid!! Shakshuka with freshly baked pita bread is also delicious:) friendly vibe.
- Great food, coffee & service. The staff are always very friendly & attentive
- Big servings, great food and one of the best mochas in Sydney.
- Liana ZFebruary 22, 2011Labbane with zaatar, tomato and fresh pita. Soooo good. Will definitely be back to try everything else on the menu.
- Best coffee in Erskineville village - specialty blends and single origin options available
- Ciaran DavisonJune 26, 2010There is no hot chocolate in Australia like Shenkin hot chocolate. No powder, only delicious chunks of real choc melted in steamed milk. Don't miss out.
- Grace LessOctober 27, 2012The Sunday morning staff are rude (esp the guy with glasses), get orders wrong then give you more attitude. When in an area saturated with great alternatives, I won't bother coming here again.
- Nicholas AllanJune 6, 2011In the running for best coffee in Sydney. Great interest and care in their espresso!
- Ms HeleneMay 27, 2012Ok coffee. Menu items sounded better than they tasted. The 'Turkish Breakfast' was unappetising - a few small dishes served together but didn't match in flavours
- Denys TroyakDecember 6, 2011Coffee was ok! One negative I had two double ressi piccolos from two different baristas both tasting different. Inconsistency kills all businesses.
- Maya BilalisJuly 4, 2010As tasty as their shakshuka is it is not what I expected it too be! A little on the runny side. More like a tomato soup. Enjoy.
- Lauren SandayJune 19, 2011Not impressed. Poor service, sat there for ages before they took our order. Then got our order wrong, and it was cold by the time it got to the table. Menu is also uninteresting, not good value.
- roger fitzJanuary 16, 2010ask ben for a double ristretto from one of his new single origin roasts ... glorious!
