- Ron RossmanJune 14, 2012Take a trip back in time and ride the old school middle elevator in Stacks! (Has the swing open door, not the sliding door like modern elevators.. also has the accordion style inside door)
- Check out the rehearsal and recording rooms. Be sure to reserve a group study room online or by phone. Also, check out the laptop lockers.
- Don't expect any peace and quiet on the second floor. Apparently it has become a group study room at night, or at least the noise level seems like it.
- The "best" group study room is in maps library. Never reserve it. It's right below that unisex restroom. You can hear flushing toilet all the time.

- Open House here today and tomorrow (9/7 & 9/8), 10-6! Come inside from the rain and enjoy the party in the library! Win an iPad 2, free textbooks for a semester, & more!
- Bill LimApril 16, 2012If the computer labs are full, you can borrow a laptop from the library commons desk for 12 hr intervals.
- Have to come earlier during the week but on the weekends there is normally room, and tables open :)
- Try to snag a comfy chair in the 2nd floor reading room for a nap in between classes. You won't regret it
- Stephanie KaschauerFebruary 16, 2012The room of requirement (Harry potter room) is the most quiet for studying or napping.
- There's a leisure reading room across from the stuffed lion. Enjoy fiction books here!
- The new knowledge commons area is beautiful. The table for the computers move up and down!!
- Never count on a comfortable temperature. Wear shorts and tshirt under sweats. Cold air blasting in stacks right now in december.
- Pick up a pair of earplugs at one of the entrance desks... Instant peace and quiet! :-)
- Check out the new Leisure Reading Room behind the central welcoming desk (near the revolving doors)
- Anne BAugust 17, 2010Check out the new hydration station in Central Pattee. Fill your water bottle with ice cold goodness for free!
- The "green lamp" or "Harry potter" room has a name: Paterno reading room.
- Make sure you engage in conversations instead of studying at the quiet studying area.
- Study, take a nap, or enjoy a nice leisure read in one of the big comfy chairs.

- Alan Klein wouldn't know how to find the 3rd floor in Paterno if his life depended on it.
- Even when the library delays opening, you can stay warm in the entrance foyer.
- Arts and Media Library is a quiet little nook to do some studying!
- Check out the moon globe and see the dark side of the moon
- Don't be surprised if you wake up one day and.... he gone
- Of course you have to check out the central stacks in Pattee
- Apparently there's a monkey lab below the building. Gnarly.
- The first floor bathroom on Paterno is always filthy. Avoid!
