- You wouldn't believe it, but nestled in downtown Lynn is this gem. The Blue Ox has great appetizers like the tuna tartare and flatbread pizza with chirizo & tasty entrees like the gnocchi bolognese.
Charlie may be the most knowledgeable bar tender in the Boston and north of Boston area. If he says try something, TRY IT
Specials are amazing!! Fried pickles are delicious!!! Try whatever Charlie wants to make you at the bar. :)
I recommend the Duxbury oysters. Sit in the main dining room. The dining room with the bar is too noisy. Reservations are a must.- Tuna Tatare appetizer is our favorite... but you'll be happy with anything on the menu. Great entrees include Filet mignon (special), Ox Burger and Chicken dish are all fantastic. Read more
