Here is one of the most traditional swiss restaurant to taste simple but good food from Zurich area like this Neuburg sausage with local potato salad! And some chestnut vermicelle for dessert. Enjoy!

A place to go with friends/family who come to visit the city. It serves zurich's best special dishes. Decoration is a great. FYI, the meaning of the restaurant is the arsenal, so don't be surprise!

Perfect place for tourist. You may see a lot of cultural food of the German part of Switzerland. Try the Cordon Bleu (house famous). Local beer awesome. Price is very fair.

Typical Swiss restaurant. Looks messy to get a sit, but totally worth the wait! Service is incredible. Try the Swiss Bratwurst and the Wiener Schnitzel! Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my "Züricher geschnetzeltes" with Rösti. As a sauce lover I really liked that they served plenty of extra sauce on the side. Off menu chocolate cake was great too.

Can be a bit pricey for people visiting with a less strong coin (like myself), but it serves traditional Zurich food, have their own beer, and the staff is really nice!

Loved the Kalbsgeschnetzeltes Bach Zürcher. Also liked the Wiedkerli! Note: if you make a reservation for 2, highly likely you’ll be paired with strangers.

You must try the zurich veal. it’s however strangely reminiscent of sous-vide factory cooked veal blanquettes in montmartre, paris.. so far for authenticity

It is a "must" see and eat place in Zurich if you are a local or on vacation. I've been there twice and the food is typical Swiss with great service, but make sure you you make reservations

Fantastic simple traditional Swiss food. Try the sausage party with potato salad or rosti. Can't go wrong. Tons of history behind the building too!

Absolutely amazing traditional Swiss food. One whole page in the menu is dedicated to Wurst (sausages) only. They all come with potato salad, but you can ask for a replacement -- try Sauerkraut!

My local friends says it is a "touristic trap", but The building is older than my country, The food is Very good, and The place is always fool (needs reservation often).

Get a massive beer and any sort of sausage. Also the weinerschnitzle if you can fit it all in. (They also have a beer that they set on fire.)

Great place to dine al fresco on a warm evening, watching the foot traffic on Bahnhofstrasse. House beer was good. The veal liver tasted like liver, nice to try but won’t have again.

Very touristic but still surprisingly very good for a classic sausage (lot of choice) and sauerkraut or potato salad. Also works non stop between lunch and dinner time during the weekend

Good place to gain 10lbs. Swallow your pride and ask for an English menu - it's giant and there are many different types of sausage. Tables are communal!

Anything is great, but do check the sausage menu out, specially the "mayor's sword" (1m long sausage). Great house beer, and all-around great atmosphere and food.

Swiss food in a tourist-friendly environment. (I don't mean that in a negative way either; sometimes when you've been travelling a while, it's nice to know exactly what you are ordering from a menu!)

#62 spicy sausage. Swap out the potato salad for the rosti and get a side of kraut. Wash down with some German wheat beer and you're good to go

If you want traditional food and you like your sausage this is the place to come, sausage by the metre. Sit in the old ammunitions factory alongside other guests on long long tables, lively, noisy.
