Make sure you drop in for happy hour, 3:00pm - 4:49pm daily. Mai Tai's are $6 and may be the best Mai Tai you'll ever have. Bring a camera; the patio has one of the greatest ocean views in the world.
We went there for brunch and had a traditional Hawaiian Loco Moco. It literally melted in my mouth! It was amazing. Mai Tai with lilikoi foam was also delicious! Its a must in Maui.
I scoured Maui for the best rum selection, expert mixology—& found bar mgr. Jeff Groh's macadamia nut orgeat Mai Tais, hand shaken Mojitos, classic El Presidentes & the greatest rum list in all of HI.
This is definitely a place to eat your vegetables: spinach from Honopua Farm, stunning, deeply red Lokelani tomatoes, and corn, simply grilled, from Nakano Farms. Read more
Spectacular views. Sits high on a point between Napili and Kapalua bays. Perfect spot for a sunsetdinner. Great food and happy hour. Really nice outdoor seating area. Read more
There’s the rare dinner experience that is so delicious, so perfect, that it actually feels very emotional. That was my dinner at Merriman’s tonight—one of the top ten of my life. Try the Mahi& purse!
With so many tempting creations, consider the duo option, which features two smaller-size entrées on one plate. You can’t go wrong with the macadamia nut–crusted monchong or roasted Jidori chicken. Read more
We had Sunday Brunch which was fantastic! Everything was very fresh. Especially loved the bacon and potatoes that came with the Classic breakfast. The view is amazing. We loved the whole experience
Growing up on Hawaii Island, I always enjoyed going to Merriman's. Always a fantastic meal. But at this location, the views alone from the restaurant are worthy of a visit!
This is a true gem on a beautiful peninsula. Love the atmosphere and the food. Monchung, ribeye, lobster salad are excellent. Mai Tai wins every award. Only the beer sucks.
Great brunch. The bloody merriman is like alcoholicgazpacho, the mai tai has passionfruit foam on top, the malasadas are made to order, and "the cure" ramen is 👌
Delicious local food. Highly recommend the daily catch- changes everyday! We went for our anniversary and at the end of our meal they brought us the nicest dessert!
Sit at the Patio, keep getting the Original Mai Tai while you watch the sunset, close it out with the chow fun noodles - they are spectacular 🕶 + 🍹 + 🥡 = 👌🏻
Don't worry if the restaurant is booked. There is an incredible, informal deck area at the back for drinks and a limited but awesome menu. Incredible ocean views.
Marisa may trick you into ordering non Happy Hour drinks. I was eyeing the $5 well drinks & asked for something bourbon based. She suggested the Molokai Mule, which ended up being 3x as much.
Ate here for a wedding - had the asparagus soup, the beet salad, and an amazing ribeye steak. The whole meal was fantastic, and so was the service and live music!
Run by Peter Merriman, one of the leaders of Hawaii regional cuisine, a culinary movement that blends international flavors with local ingredients. * Expensive!
Watch the sunset over cocktails from the deck. Appetizer: kalua pork quesadilla. For dinner try the lamb (a tad gamey, but phenomenal). Dessert: chocolate purse.
Food was a little overpriced, but good. We ordered a filet mignon. It wasn't a center-cut and was priced at $34. Everything else was good though. Great service and great view.
Overhyped, under flavored. Doesn’t help that they don’t even offer takeout. Seems like a business the pandemic should rightfully claim. Hope it goes under and is replaced with something actually good.
Dine in the most beautiful location within Kapalua Resort, directly on the ocean, and view tropical sunsets from "The Point." Chef-Owner Peter Merriman has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to this beautiful ocean-side setting.
