- Kaitlin NelsonApril 2, 2017I like that I can catch the A/C or the 1 at this station. I don't love waiting on the elevator for the 1, and it's a pretty gross station compared to others, but it is convenient.Upvoted Mar 23

- Kimmie OhhSeptember 28, 2019This is the first/last stop of the C train. You need an elevator to transfer btwn the 1 train to the A/C trains & exit. There are 4 huge elevators that look sketchy & take some time though...
- Mta took away the staff booth at the SW entrance - if u have bags u must yell at someone to let u through the door.....pain in the ass - thanks mta!
- Take the downtown C train here. It might be a little slower, but you’ll ALWAYS get a seat.
- The automated machines at the 169th street entrance, at times, don't accept cash nor credit/debit, especially in the morning rush hours. Frustrating if you don't arrive equipped with a MetroCard. :)
- Swiping through to get in can be a MAJOR bitch sometimes, prepare to walk over to the booth if you fail to swipe after 2-3 times.
- You can transfer for free between the A/C train & the 1 train (& visversa).
- Dude there are 2 pigeons that sometimes ride the elevator. Some1 has got 2 capture this on video 4 Youtube.
