The lines are long but they move really quick. Plus the baristas are really nice - be nice to them and theyll be nice to you. Download the Tapingo app and order in advance to skip the enormous line. You can pay with credit card or dining dollars.
Longass lines so get here at least 10 minutes before class. It is NOT your last minute grab and go coffee place, but it IS the only useful place for dining dollars.
Enjoy waiting behind undergrads as they sample their drinks at the sugar/milk station in order to get the perfect blend of strawberry frappucino and splenda.
If you're nice to them, they're nice to you. A smile can go a long way, sometimes even to a free upsize!
They do Frappaccino Happy Hour here! Try to chat up as many college girls till you place your order with walking barista and you might be awarded with " hustler " on your cup....- They don't have the payment solution to process your smartphone's Starbucks application so paying for your purchase will take a longer duration. The staff manually type in your card number.
It's run by NYU so no Starbucks card purchases or free wifi (you have to be an NYU student.) get to know the baristas, though, and you can get lots of free coffee ;)
Huge lines. Mentally prepare yourself, or be miserable. You can earn stars on your Starbucks Card/App here, but you can't redeem them.

Very spacious Starbucks with big tables; could be good to do group work here but somebody should bring a power strip. Table seats 7 but only one 2-plug outlet underneath.- Use the restroom downstairs if you have a NYU card instead of the only one in the back at Starbucks.
- Approach the ladies who packed their lunch to Starbucks. Chances are they had no lunch plans with anyone so a better chance they are single.
If Melissa is making the drinks, ask for the Melissa Chai. So good!!!

Note that this Sbux is NOT a regular franchise. It is owned by NYU. Thus, your rewards extras won't be valid here, and there will be no consistency re: BYO mug, promotions, etc. NOT A REAL STARBUCKS.

Try the Very Berry Coffee Cake - Pretty good... But it's Starbucks :/
If Davis isn't present, then you may actually get some work done.
Tip for the Starbucks corporation: hire more people, get more tables and bring another coffee machine for this location. It's getting ridiculous...
