First time here. Definitely worth the stop. Pretty good pea soup - make sure to get the extra toppings. The star is the fried chicken simply prepared with creamy mashed potatoes and veg.

Split pea soup is decent (but not amazing like some tips imply). Hot wings are breaded (menu doesn't mention this) but very delicious. Clean bathrooms too!

Great soup but you have to order any toppings separately, when it seems that some should automatically come with it

Perfectly cooked fried chicken, good food in general, a little bland, but nothing a little s&p can't handle, worth stopping for.

Pea soup isn’t exactly a complicated recipe; the Dutch aren’t known for their cuisine anyway. But hey it’s a tourist trap with a decorative windmill outside so by all means… spend your money on beans.
