- Huge beer list, a rare whiskey menu and amazing organic home made pizza made by super Mario himself. What else do you want?
- Lidia VorontsovaAugust 31, 2020A real revelation. Been slowly exploring dog friendly places in Manchester and this is one of the best. A huge beer list, great pizzas, extremely nice staff. Good vibes all around.
- Beer, wine, pizzas, staff and clientele are all excellent. The only place in Manchester, nay the world, that sells salmami.
- A frequent pub stop for cyclists. Lock bicycles on the racks behind, at the sports centre.
- Artemi MorningstarOctober 20, 2015I love Sandbar! Great ale selection, a variety of scotch labels and a lovely space ;)
- AaronOctober 9, 2014Amazing beers , guest ales. Celebrate Oktoberfest. Amazing vibe. Really love this bar
- Not Too Critical: A Discussion Group of all things contemporary arts meets here each Wednesday at 1800! (@Ntcrit or www.nottoocritical.wordpress.com)
- Really nice bar and they serve pretty big pizzas, enough for two to share!
- Best place for real ale for miles around. Occasionally do really good little jazz gigs in here as well.
- Best pub in terms of ale selection in Manchester. Simple
- Szcze PanSeptember 12, 2013Nice bar with unusual selection of beers with reasonable prices. Recomended!!!
- Jenny OakenfullMay 5, 2011Lovely bar - much nicer than The Pub just down the road, and cheaper than The Deaf Institute.
- Best and cheapest coffee around!! Pot of coffee + homemade cake = £2!! Pot serves 3 cups!
- Bora DemiralanJanuary 14, 2015I don't like the sensors at the toilets! Bar is rich and relatively cheaper
- Rebecca TFebruary 4, 2018Rude manager kicked me out for chatting to bar staff, terrible customer service. Note to manager: If you don’t know how to interact with customers, you should consider a change of career all together.
- Sam MAugust 5, 2018Toilets have been renovated and are much better now, only urinals in the men's though...
- Jim MiskellAugust 7, 2010No kopperburhg here just bicycles as far as my asain eyes can see and that can't cos I'm asain. Duckin Isaac Newton
- Sam MJuly 23, 2015A bit hipster and kind of surly staff. Pizza very average given the price, beer selection very good not amazing. Would come back before a deaf institute gig again, probably not eat pizza though...
- These toilets are pretty much what you'd expect... Small and slightly grotty. You DON'T have to touch anything with your hands in here! Elbows all the way! :) slightly confusing on the way out... 6/10
