- KolineJuly 7, 2013While you're trying to find parking, have one person from your party get a number ticket from the restaurant staff. Prepare to wait as this is a very popular and fine dimsum place among locals.
- David ChanJanuary 15, 2019Best authentic Hong Kong Style Chinese cuisine in the Bay Area! Great tasting dim sum and many yummy selections on the menu. Efficient and friendly service, clean and plenty of space to park on street
- djsOctober 1, 2017Finely balanced flavors & textures here! Food isn't salty. Even hot and sour soup was special. Loved pork chops with spicy salt. Also cured pork shank and jelly and even scallops! To-do: dim sum.
- Dim sum was a really fun way to introduce my little American kids to fairly authentic cuisine. Very friendly staff. Peking duck was super yummy. Really liked the thin noodles used in the chow mein.
- Try all the dimsum and everything else! The tofu dishes are great. They also host big events!
- Alex KimAugust 11, 2014Go with a Chinese family, keep your hands and feet in at all times and enjoy the ride.

- _January 25, 2016One of the better tasting dim sum places in Alameda. Service is spotty. Come early - there will be a wait. Flag down carts because they will not actually walk around the whole restaurant.
- Frank KimFebruary 9, 2015Pretty good dim sum, not much variety later on Sunday, the shrimp and pork shumai is excellent.

- GoapeleApril 9, 2010Got to get Dim Sum at East Ocean. One of my favorites in the East Bay, especially during the week. The X.O. noodles are really good.
- Lisa RoblesJuly 7, 2014Don't even bother if you're vegan. They can accommodate you but with a live food menu you prob don't want to eat here anyway.
- Pro BRobermanDecember 8, 2013Sweet effing lord. Its like there was an east ocean orgy in my mouth and everything came at once.
- Becky LaiFebruary 6, 2010This place looks small from the outside but it's HUGE inside!! Probably seats 300-400 people! No wait at 11:30 on a Saturday. Carts come fast and often! Medium quality dimsum...
- Bar none best dim sum I've had in ages! Two can eat for $20!
- Ask for pu-erh tea instead of jasmine for a more authentic experience.
- Lauren GrauFebruary 22, 2014Not super friendly for vegetarians - they don't even have vegetable dumplings :(
