One of my family's go-to spots in the Old Port for the last 15+ years when we're hungry for casual, classic Maine comfort food...highly recommend the seafood chowder and steamed mussels

If you see the daily special is a steamed lobster, with fries and corn on the cob, you best be ordering it as I've never had such a great lunch in my life!

The clam chowder was very good. A little on the sweet side though. But I would have it again. The whole belly clams was excellent.

Get the chowder, it's worth it. Everything else is really just OK. Except the calamari, which is bizarrely actively bad. I don't know how you screw up calamari, but they found a way. Service slow.

Not sure why it is so popular since our slip was very salty.. A medium cup would feed 2 person for a quick tasting after your meal.

I was very disappointed in Mimi's service and the food was okay, definitely not the best. I ordered the clam chowder in a breadbowl and had fried shrimp with fries.
