- Brittany ZemaitisSeptember 18, 2014It's the only 24 hour cafe in town that I'm aware of. Lots of students hang out here from the neighboring colleges making this a great place to study.
- Kelsey RyderMarch 5, 2016Literally everything here is perfect. The atmosphere is amazing and the coffee is just as good. Hands down the best coffee shop I've ever been in!
- Jen FoxFebruary 18, 201524 hour coffee joint. They even make a "bulletproof" coffee! Nice hand roasted coffee selections as well.
- SD SoundscapeFebruary 12, 2012The Bitter End is my new favorite coffee spot!! Strong Espresso! Love this Omelette Bagel and the St Louis style vocal jazz in the background!
- Kristen JefferySeptember 4, 2014Open 24 hours! Best coffee we've found in Grand Rapids! Try the peppermint patty!
- Anna PetermanSeptember 13, 2015Cozy atmosphere and the hot chocolate is real and made right in front of you. Love all the pictures and art.
- Matthew MoreyApril 21, 2013I love the baristas here. Every time that I've come they've been very outgoing and fun, just like a Batista should be ^_^
- Olivia BarrettAugust 29, 2013Wi-Fi password as of 8/29/13: 2hourlimit. It’s a reliable, usable connection about 80% of the time in my experience. Coffee is great.
- I love the bitter end !!! They owners are amazing and the coffee and success of the business brings pride to the westside.
- Elizabeth GonzalezJune 30, 2014Find a secret window inside ;o perfect place to hang out and great drinking flavors
- Always look for the little stickers they have have different ones every time. Love them
- 12am on a Wednesday night and I just snagged the last available table. You gotta get lucky to find a seat here!
- Mindy SueJuly 23, 2013Open 24 hours for students, beautifully designed, and the staff is so friendly :)
- Dakota LakeAugust 17, 2012If you're really feeling adventurous, just ask the barista to surprise you. :) it has never failed me.
- This place is okay. The decor and background music are appealing, but the staff is unusually impatient and there's too many rules. There's an array of strange, passive aggressive signs with rules.
- Rebekah StenskeSeptember 17, 2013Just learned that they purchase their espresso beans raw and roast them in the basement!
- Stacy JeanMay 19, 2011A real coffee shop where the baristas actually take time to make a drink for you (and the time to chat!). However, the chai is pretty flavorless, so that's real sad.
- Justin RAugust 16, 2012Use the wifi named "thebitterend2" if you want free internet. The one named "NETGEAR-BE" has no password, but also no internet.
- Justin RAugust 14, 2012If you sit in the back left corner, wear pants. The AC is freezing under the table!
- Complain if you want, but they take their one drink per person policy seriously for a reason:-)
- This place is packed during finals, come early to get good seats
- Brandy BrayFebruary 5, 2013Not the place for group studies-too small and breezy. There were 4 of us. Plus, they have a one drink minimum policy. I'm all for not loitering but seriously? 2 of my mates were forced to buy drinks.
- Good people, good conversation. Great place to study & socialize
- Katie MeierMarch 13, 2012We were harassed to get a drink 4 times in 4 minutes, 3 of which was outside smoking after we pulled up on motorcycles. The barista even came OUTSIDE to ask if we were ordering
- Edward DavisAugust 29, 2013Don't be social in this place. They will ban you if you aren't a stuck up hipster.
- I'm too short for the secret window. Dirty chai, me gusta!
- Katie MeierMarch 13, 2012*Cont* or just "hanging around all night." He made some rude comments, and clearly is terrible for business as numerous people have said the same about that specific guy.
