- T BNovember 29, 2016Pleasant East Side atmosphere. French-American fusion w a wide variety of options on the menu--something for everyone. The steak sandwich is juicy and cooked to perfection! Enjoy the thin cut fries.
- AndreaDecember 18, 2012The Shepard's pie was phenomenal! It was so flavorful and unique with a duck con fit on the bottom! Bar service was a tad slow one things picked up in the restaurant, but the bartender was nice.
- LilySeptember 7, 2014One of the best spots in Providence. You won't go wrong with anything here, but the French onion soup is a shining star.
- Gary NoeFebruary 20, 2017This place is great. The service is good, food totally worth the wait. Try the grilled cheese and soup, topping it off with a Bloody Mary
- Rich SitnikSeptember 2, 2016The steak frites was excellent as was the calamari. If you're at a place called Red Stripe you have to have one with dinner! Will come here again!!
- The best neighborhood restaurant you could ask for...try the Beef Stroganoff or the Short Ribs. Any kind of martini is well made too 🍸
- Weekend brunch is particularly good and fun. Start with their Bloody Mary and make sure to get shoestring fries with aoli.
- Red devil pasta and clam chowder are AMAZING. Also all the mussels!!
- Pasta. Moules frites. French onion soup. And they make a damned good Manhattan.
- If you're here on Saturday or Sunday morning, order the Bloody Mary with the salt and pepper rim.
- Great food, but food allergy folk beware - they don't list all the ingredients on the menu. Just make sure to double check if there's mayo, mustard, etc and you'll be fine.
- elle woulfeApril 4, 2010It's all good. Meatloaf if you're real hungry, fish n' chips if you want something fried and the brick chicken anytime. Fried clams are rockin as is the strawberry shortcake. Yumer.
- Matt DWORKINOctober 1, 2010The red stripe Burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had in this city, as well as the goat cheese ravioli. ..great place for a date
- Lindsay WeisbergApril 25, 2014Bad. Pasta was so mushy it was inedible, sent it back and got the same mushy grossness. With so many good restaurants I wonder why ppl flock here? Good ambience but foods subpar - not worth the price
- Dailyn HigginsSeptember 23, 2014Everything!!! Love the food, people, atmosphere. The Staff!!!! Delicious
- Our neighborhood brasserie! Excellent, good wine list, reaaonablr
- Marc ArdizzoneFebruary 20, 2010They make a mean Old Fashioned w/Makers Mark. I love their many flavors of mussels. I also often go there with The Mayor who I have no plan to usurp.
- Yami AlonsoJune 20, 2016This place is your suburban go to spot in Prov. But, service is slow, food is mediocre and is always slammed. Creme brûlée was excellent tho
- Chris CasOctober 10, 2013The curried chicken salad is AMAZING! But unfortunately they only have it on the lunch menu.
- Charlotte MayApril 7, 2017So. I love red stripe but the last time I was there the food was terrible! I prefer it for brunch or lunch but stay away for dinner.
- Joslyn HansenJanuary 15, 2012Ask before ordering the hash at brunch - it's not crispy like you might expect.
- Alice T.August 8, 2011The bread here was absolutely amazing! Though we were less impressed with the entrees
- The grilled cheese is monstrous, so much so that the special version (with meat and stuff) can be overwhelming unless you're starving.
- The Red Stripe grilled cheese is the most wonderful grilled cheese ever.
- Shane LennonJune 8, 2010it is getting boring - the dishes begin to blend into each other - like a franchise
