- Andy MuellerJune 30, 2016Don't come here for want run-of-the-mill Japanese, or chicken. This is world-class. Chefs recommendations are always a good choice. I recommend the Kaki oysters, Toro, Umi Masu, and the Uni (if fresh)
- Mitchell WulfmanSeptember 29, 2017The udon here is awesome. Haven't tried the sushi yet. Great atmosphere
- Scott D.May 11, 2010Try the beef sukiyaki! For a complete Japanese experience, order a side of white rice & a bowl with two raw eggs. Whip the eggs and dip the beef in it..eat with the rice. How they do in Japan. So good
- Jeremy VillataNovember 18, 2018The beef sukiyaki was quite tasty and generously portioned. It’s easily enough for two.
- I love the tempura, miso & green tea ice dream. Love the ambiance as well & the servers.
- Its better to visit there at lunch time 11am to 2pm. Cheaper n really good deal! Try sukiyaki, tendon , nabeyaki udon n saba shiyoyaki!!
- Russ BridgeJanuary 1, 2013My wife & I's favorite place in Salt Lake. Be sure to make reservations. The food is so yummy!!!
- Arthur MitchellAugust 31, 2017Very comfortable and intimate dining. The food was good, service was disjointed.
- Kimo WatanabeApril 21, 2010Best Japanese food from a Japanese guy's perspective. Agedashi tofu is amazing. Love their lunch donburi dishes as well. Ambiance and ownership are great as well.
- Stephen EscobedoJune 4, 2011Favorite Japanese place in SLC. Great food, real Kansai flavor, and the owner is a great guy.
- Jeff TakiguchiMarch 28, 2013Their teriyaki stuff isn't too great. The sauce is too gooey. Sukiyaki is great.
- Try the Hiyashi Chuka- cold noodle salad - very refreshing
- stephanie marzJuly 3, 2015Must have been there on an off day. Did not have the great experience everyone else seems to have had. Rushed by waitress, over cooked chicken, and loosely wrapped rolls.
