- Pat WestonApril 14, 2019You would step out onto a covered porch to look out over the lake with windows that could be opended out to the lake. Stairs led down to the half moon dock on the lake.
- Pat WestonApril 14, 2019Currently used as event space. Go if u have a chance. Perhaps the next time the space is renovated they will restore some of the lost features. In the meantime...... Dream
- Pat WestonApril 14, 2019The basic layout was retained so you can still imagine what the space was like in the 30's & 40's when it hosted regular appearances by the great bands of the day.
- Pat WestonApril 14, 2019The entire wall facing the lake consisted of a row of wooden French doors (no air conditioning back in the day just lots of doors that could be left open for ventalation by lake breezes)
- Pat WestonApril 14, 2019If you do go close your eyes & imagine a larger space (they added a bar & a catering kitchen in the renovation) with a wood floor throughout.
- Pat WestonApril 14, 2019Current space is pretty - Fortuny silk lamps everywhere you look. Unfortunately they carpeted over most of the original wood floor in the renovation so the dance floor is now much smaller.
- Pat WestonApril 14, 2019It is not the same as the pre - fire then renovationed version but it is better than it being torn down & lost forever.
