The bread! Soft shell crab and that sauce they use is delish. Try the drum fish. Don't forget to ask your server about the history of the restaurant.

K-Paul's two signature dishes are the blackened beef tenders and the blackened Louisiana drum fish. You can get BOTH in an off-the-menu surf and turf combo.

Gumbo is the best I ever tried !!! The place is really casual , and don’t be surprised if you are served with styrofoam utensils, it’s part of the experience. Long story short THE FOOD IS GREAT !!

Experience a premiere chef restaurant without busting your wallet; go for the deli lunch. Grab a seat, order at the bar & the food is brought to you on styrofoam plate. Bread pudding is a must!

The Louisiana Blackened Drum and the lightly battered fried seafood over eggplant are out of this world. Their seasonings are truly special. Portions are generous and service was extraordinary.

Try the Cajun surf & turf - blackened drum and a small beef filet with debris sauce. Ask for it because It's not on the menu. So good!

Possibly the best meal I've had from start to finish. Started w/ fried oysters w/ a Brie cream sauce. Entree: if you don't get the blackened drum then you've made a mistake. Bread pudding dessert FTW

Okay, I have had some really great meals in my life. My dinner at K-Paul’s is actually the best of them all. Every course perfect. Execution, ore ration. Flavor, baby flavor. Nothing can compare!!!

This is still one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans. They have some fine dishes, including an excellent gumbo, turtle soup and the tastiest frog legs I've ever had.

The blackened chicken and jambalaya plate is delicious. The chicken is spicy and moist and the jambalaya is dark and smoky. Just don't try to eat it all; it took me 18 hours to eat again.

The blackened beef tenders were so good! Any beef you can cut with a butter knife even though its an inch thick is a win! The reduction...all I can say is WOW...

Invented Blackened Redfish in 1982. Paul Prudhomme only had room in the kitchen to cook with black skillets, in which he seared a well-seasoned redfish in butter.

So much food! Entrees come with an app and dessert. Menu changes daily. Order light: the delicious bread basket will fill you up! Got the bisque and avocado shrimp salad - good and I'm stuffed!

The blackened drum was so good, it gave me an out-of-body experience. That also could have been the accompanying cocktail. Regardless, order the blackened drum.

You won't want to pass up the blackened drum. I was literally having dreams about it ever since booking the reservation, and we hadn't eaten here for twelve years. Yes, it's that good!
