- Mark KantyMay 17, 2016Spinnakers is my new favourite local pub! (I live just down the road) Great beers made on site and the food coming out of the kitchen is always good. Try the daily pub pie. Eggs Bennies are great too.
- Eli ShayotovichSeptember 28, 2013Solid beer selection. The Hoptoria was the best. Food was fantastic though. The smoked fish platter appetizer is to die for. BACON WRAPPED OYSTERS! Yes, capital word good. Gorgeous location/building.
- Matthew BOctober 2, 2020This place was a hidden gem for me on my trip to Victoria. Amazing selection of beers, a nice little store, great views and good food! Highly recommend to any beer geek!
- Joanna BurtonJune 25, 2014Walk from the Johnson St Bridge. Lovely harbour-hugging walk and you'll feel you've earned a pint. Look out for sea otters along the way.
- Steve WallaceJune 3, 2013I LOVE the new menu. We had oysters on the half shell—very similar to Rochefeller, my friend had moules frites and I had a fantastic pot pie. Everything was delicious.
- Jay VeeSeptember 5, 2019The food is great; they also have special menus for people with allergies/celiac disease. Beer/cider is fantastic!
- Caroline JanasSeptember 9, 2015Lovely views, nice low-carb flatbread pizza (mine had blackberries on it!!!), the Pumpkin ale was amazing and you could buy to take out.
- Greg HavenerJuly 4, 2012They had never heard of a bunless burger! The fork and knife version they delivered was one of the most tasty burgers I've ever had.
- You can't go wrong with the classic house pale ale... ;0) cheers!
- Nika SamotskayaSeptember 11, 2018Tasty beer, good food. Chicken fried pizza was ok and salmon and chips was fantastic
- Torch RankinAugust 28, 2012Pulled pork was fantastic, add jalapeños for an incredible treat! Then, get some delicious fresh chocolates on the way out!
- Terri DaviesOctober 10, 2010Vegetarian options sound excellent. Try the rustic bread salad - so good. The Pakora Burger was too heavy for my liking. Really like that they use local cheeses and produce though.
- Lana LepperSeptember 29, 2012Upstairs, the Taproom is 19+ only but always packed for dinner. Too hot for comfort, choose a table outside or downstairs.
- John ScottMarch 15, 2016Get a flight of beer - it's the best way to get a feel for their brewing style
- Desmond BrisbinJuly 8, 2017Make sure to try the beer flights! Only a "hop" away from the other breweries on bridge and bay. 🤓
- I have had allot of nachos in my life, and these are very probably the best I have ever had. Be sure to add the jalapenos!
- Beto LaNzJanuary 7, 2014The halibut fish n chips is fantastic. Try the four beer sampler and the pulled pork poutine
- Enjoying a free pint of Cask Special IPA courtesy of Spinnakers in recognition of just becoming Mayor! Yumm. Great people and service here.
- Desmond BrisbinMay 2, 2014Original Pale Ale with experimental hops tastes like Rickards white with more hops - delicious.
- Chris MeechanJune 23, 2023Loved the pub but for such a famous Canadian brewpub their own beers were slightly disappointing
- Michel DesgrosseilliersAugust 4, 2015Restaurant section great menu and service. Home brew excellent. It's too bad I had terrible experiences at the bar upstairs. Some of the worst service I ever had. Can't explain the discrepancy.
- Craig Noon-WardJune 29, 2011Today you should avoid the special bitter ale because it's totally uncarbonated and the fries are stale...oh yeah and you have to line up to pee in the single toilet. Great view though!
- Stephen BonnerJune 5, 2012Try the Oysters - Local Vancouver Island oysters with in house brewed IPA vinaigrette
- Anthony SannaOctober 10, 2010Beer tasters! $1.50 for a 3oz glass. Perfect for the flyweights like me that get drunk with a full pint.
- Tastebud GuidesSeptember 21, 2011The food is good but the gravity-pulled cask beers on week nights are where it's at
- BradfordMay 23, 2011If you are at spinnakers then you must must try the BEST nachos...with pulled pork.
- Rebecca KennelJanuary 29, 2011Explore the Westsong Walkway w Victoria's newest guidebook, Victoria Bench by Bench. Available at Munro's on Government St.
- DeborahMarch 17, 2010Order the shellfish, make sure to get the kale with any main. Perfect portion sizes and local microbrews.
- The dry apple cider is particularly good and when they say dry they mean dry.
- Great pub for a lunch or casual dinner. Be sure to grab some chocolate on the way out!
- Julia Greenshields Romo HenshallMay 26, 2013Beware of staff upselling the house non alcoholic iced tea @ $4 Beer costs $3.25 The waitress said it was our responsibility to know how much things cost, it was in the menu. Food overpriced and meh.
